Kayak 5km downstream to Bendeela where you get picked up and bought back to town.  Walk back to town for a late lunch at the Friendly Inn and drive home.  You will need to organise your own accommodation and purchase music tickets. Cascade after cascade will be passed, along with dramatic overhangs and rock shelves. Then it's back up the excellent Jack Evans Track to the escarpment rim. Rock hopping.

Birdwood Gully Walk: Gorgeous by Day and Magical by night. It  is  a beautiful short round trip walk that showcases the rainforest environment on the valleys of the Blue Mountains. Very easy access, some steep steps, overhangs, footbridges over streams, lyre birds, ferns and amazing atmosphere.

Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or longFind out why this part of the Gardens of Stone SCA must be better protected for the future generations. Park at GR 398 038. Descend into Gang Gang Canyon and walk all the way through to Gang Gang Tunnels, visiting the cave at about GR 309 400, as well as the cave at GR 405 043. After exploring the Gang Gang Tunnels, turn south and walk to the falls at GR 407 045, whilst inspecting the caves along the way. Continue south to visit Lots Wife and the adjacent cave. Find a way out to the western side and re-connect with the cars. About 6km. All off-track, some rock scrambling and exposure.

There are no abseils and no compulsary swimming and you'll only get wet, under normal conditions, up to your knees. I plan to also take a look up a Bungary Creek sidearm to explore a bit. Wet feet.

Hazards: Rough track often wet, muddy and slippery, unfenced lookout.
