Canyon | A trip through a canyon (a gully surrounded by tall cliffs).Public Transport | There are public transport options to and from this activity.ALL INTENDING WALKERS MUST BE DOUBLE VACCINATED. Hat Hill Canyon is a spectacular canyon in the upper Blue Mountains which doesn't require abseiling. There are a few short swims so a wetsuit is required as the water is usually cold. A helmet is also a good idea and if you don't have one I have plenty I can lend out. This trip was cancelled previously due to the fires then floods in 2019/20 so I'm hoping, third time is lucky. A few short compulsory swims with rock scrambling and hopping along the creek.

Rocky Creek Canyon is without a doubt one of the most spectacular canyons in the Greater Blue Mountains/Wollemi area with its exquisite sculptured walls, numerous cascades and gorgeous pools to enjoy on a hot summer day. There are a few compulsory swims, so a wetsuit is essential, and a helmet should be used as well. The leader has many spare helmets to loan if intending walkers don't have one. There are no abseils involved. Rock scrambling and hopping with several swims involved.

Arguably Australia's premier long-distance walk, The Overland Track is undoubtedly a walk of superlatives, not the least being the supremely beautiful landscape you travel through from Cradle Mountain all the way down south to Lake St. Clair. On this trip I plan to do several side trips (optional), including climbing Barn Bluff, Mt Oakleigh, Mt Ossa, as well as visiting the Labyrinth. The cost of the walk is $200 and you have the option of staying in the huts along the way, open to availability, but you do have to carry a tent or arrange to share with another. We will get picked up in Launceston and taken to the walk start and again at the finish of the walk will get transported from Cynthia Bay back to Hobart. 4 seasons in one day is Tassies mantra so expect any sort of climatic conditions.
