Hazards: Rough track, slippery creek crossings and scrambling up loose scree slopes.

Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or longPhotography | A trip that has a strong focus on encouraging people to capture photographs.Slow pace | A trip where the leader will set an easy pace.A walk of discovery and mostly off-track, exploring the interesting and dramatic landscape of these cliff lines, small creeks and ravines high above the Grose Valley. The distance isn't very far but this is not an area you can travel in a speedy manner as there's so much to see along the way, including some very impressive pagodas. Intending walkers should be fully vaxxinated. Rock scrambling and mostly off-track walking so expect some bush bashing.

Below these via the aptly named Miracle Slot are outcrops of superb pagodas, the Pyramid Rocks also worth exploring. This isn't a long trip distance wise but it will excite and delight you! The original inhabitants of the Canoelands area were the Darug people. The Darug were the custodians of the majority of what is now the Greater Sydney region. They were divided into a number of different 'clans', whose quick demise upon European settlement has sadly resulted in very little information remaining on how they utilised the local area. Meet Mount Victoria outside station. Car allocation. Drive to end of Mt York Road (7 km). Morning tea and opportunity to look around, walk to lookout etc. Then drive back to Lawsons Long Alley. Walk down Lawsons Long Alley, Hartley Vale Road, then up Lockyers Trail back to cars. Views, rocky outcrops. Steep, VERY muddy area guaranteed to get feet wet. Limit: 15. View

From Helensburgh Station follow a variety of tracks to the Coast Track. Explore the Semi Detached Point area and return along alternative tracks back to Helensburgh. Lots of variety, great coastal views, river crossings and a short off track section. Unhurried pace. Cliff edges, river crossings, slippery rocks.

A walk with lots of variety. Starting from Scarborough Station, follow paths to Sea Cliff Bridge. A visit below the bridge might be possible. Continue along the coast and ascend track to Mt Mitchell stopping at various lookouts along the way. Follow tracks along the cliff top visiting Coalcliff Dam and Stanwell Tops. Cross road and follow  Princess Marina track to Kelly's Falls. Continue along tracks to Bulgo Knoll and end with an off track section to Otford Station. Cliff edges, creek crossings, slippery conditions. Limit: 15. View

Return up to Blackheath via Porters Pass Gully. Creek crossings. Track poor at times. Steep sections. Lots of steps. Scrambling over and under fallen trees. This is a solid walk. It feels longer than 8km. From the valley we climb over 300m in 2km.

The rainforest in Gladstone Pass is particularly attractive and photographers should have a field day. Rock scrambling and very steep track in parts with some ropes to help pull you up Copeland Pass.
