Hazards:  Rough track, slippery creek crossings and scrambling up loose scree slopes.

I'm itching to see what the Grose Valley looks like at Blue Gum forest as well as in what condition, these 2 famous connecting tracks are in, so come and join me for what should be a wonderful walk. Steep descent and ascent and possibly loose rocks.

Swim | A trip that involves swimmingWalk | A bushwalk of any kind short or longSlow pace | A trip where the leader will set an easy pace.Normally a canyon involves getting wet feet and a swim, abseil or at least a wade through waist-deep water but Nobles Cayon, also known as the Dry Canyon is a rare exception and a wonderfully spectacular one at that. On this trip we will follow Nobles Canyon down past its 2 constrictions to the cliff lines above Carne Creek then explore the cliff lines south of that creek before crossing over a pagoda laden ridge back to the main track. Rock scrambling and off-track.

This is a spectacular area containing pagodas, gullies, cliffs and fabulous views. From this side of the Grose Valley you experience a different perspective Tracks, off-track, steep descent, minor scrambling and a creek crossing. Only a grade 4 due to the off-track sections.

A wonderful experience to see the landscape under moonlight, and at sunrise and sunset! This is a lovely trip with an unforgettable view from the campsite.

The nearby walk to Taffys Rock leaves the main track, and is much more secluded, with better views. The walk is good in winter as it mainly follows ridges, and is reasonably exposed to the sun. The track is well marked as far as the turnoff to Taffys Rock. From there it is likely to be marked by cairns, but there are no official markers, Steep and Slippery sections. Some clambering

Cycle | A cycling tripCycle Wolli Creek to Birkenhead Point then Cabarita return. A casual, scenic ride around bays, rivers and canals. Cycle from Wolli Creek Railway Station to Stanmore, Whites Creek Canal, Rozelle, Birkenhead Point, The Bay Run, Canada Bay, then Cabarita for picnic lunch (BYO). Coffee stops along the way. Many cycle paths and cycle lanes along quiet roads with some undulations. Return to Wolli Creek Rail about 4pm, via Canals and a Greenway. Must bring spare tube and repair kit. No helmet no go! View

  • Coastal drama awaits on this wild and wonderful 23km trail, stretching from the Minnamurra River in the north to Werri Beach, in the town of Gerringong, in the south. Along the way lie ancient rock formations, record-breaking blowholes, windswept headlands and postcard-perfect beaches, not to mention plenty of places to refuel.
  • keep watch for humpback whales; 25,000 of them steam along the east coast of Australia on their annual migration.
  • Top attractions: Kiama Blowhole, Cathedral Rocks, Bombo Headland, Minnamurra River, Werri Beach.

Below these via the aptly named Miracle Slot are outcrops of superb pagodas, the Pyramid Rocks also worth exploring. This isn't a long trip distance-wise but it will excite and delight you! Rock scrambling and off-track.

The track unravels through a mix of bushland and harbourside trails and series of short tracks crossing between stunning beaches, bays and inlets in North Sydney. Highlights of this walk
