21 May, Fri Even more of The Labyrinth

Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or long(NEW!!!) Park at Wolgan Road and go through Minotaur Lair to Point Sol and climb a high point at GR 422 232. Next, head north along the spur, then turn west and find a way down to the next level towards west at about GR 4200 2356. The idea is to explore the next 400 m of pagodas and slots, until 4160 E. Return via Ariadne Needles. Partly exploratory. Scrambling and exposure. About 10 km.

28-30 May, Fri (20:33PM)-Sun (00:00AM) Lost Chord Crater, Lee Castle and Labyrinth Peak

Day 1: Park at Benjang Gap, GR 300 930. Walk to Lee Creek and then upstream to GR 328 904. Take water for the day (or carry from home). Climb to Lost Chord Crater, continue to Lost Chord Saddle, then climb south-west on Tal Tal Ridge to about GR 339 890. Descend into a tributary of Lee Creek at about GR 330 884. Take water for high camp and next morning, climb westwards and camp at around GR 324 885. If time permits, explore high cliffs to the south-east (we may even camp there). About 12 km.
Day 2: Spend the morning exploring Lee Castle immediately to the north-west, then descend into Lee Creek, take water for the high camp and the next day and climb to Labyrinth Saddle (eastern end) at GR 315 903. Then climb Labyrinth Peak, GR 311 901, to camp. About 6 km.
Day 3: Return to the Labyrinth Saddle. Explore around to the north and north-east. If possible, descend into a tributary of Lee Creek at around GR 316 909; otherwise return to the saddle and use a known descent route to the north. Walk back to the cars. About 8 km. Mostly exploratory. Scrambling and exposure.

3-4 Jul, Sat-Sun Mount Canobla and Gundangaroo Traverse to St Johns Point

Day 1 - Park near Canobla Gap and ascend Mount Canobla on a razor blade spur. Continue to Mt Gundangaroo and camp near the trig. Water was found in a nearby gully.
Day 2 – Walk to St Johns Point, then descend to Canobla Gap Trail and walk back to the cars. Partly exploratory. Scrambling and exposure.

16 Jul, Fri The Ultimate Mugii Murum-ban

Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or long(NEW!!!) Park at Airly Mountain and find a pass at around GR 250 314 to Ultimate View. From here, head south via The Citadel and descend on the eastern side of Citadel Spur. Walk north east under the cliff line and ascend Ultimate Chute. Head north via Genowlan Trig and visit (depending on the available time) the Valley of the Dinosaurs and/or Ultimate Slot. Make our way down via the road network to Airly Mountain. About 8 km. Partly exploratory. Scrambling and exposure.

14-16 Aug, Sat-Mon Deanes and Rocky Creek Junction Adventure

Full-pack walk from Newnes into a camp near the junction of Deanes and Rocky Creeks, then explore with the day pack. The plan for each day is to be advised. About 8 km every day. This promises to be a wild and spectacular adventure. Expect plenty of challenges and amazing scenery. Scrambling and exposure. Mostly exploratory.
