Commencing at Mobbs Hill, we follow the creek to where it joins Subiacco Creek which ultimately flows into the Parramatta River. We are walking through forest, parkland and some streets. From Helensburgh Station follow a variety of tracks, some new routes, crossing the Hacking River a few times. We will start with a visit to the old Helensburgh Tip with good views of the Conservation Area and city views. Continue along the Red Cedar Loop and descend the Lilyvale Track to the Karingal Flats area. Cross Camp Creek and follow tracks back to Helensburgh.

(Nearly fully booked) This walk follows the track through forest, along creeks and beneath the M5 Motorway. The Nattai River and Gibbergunyah Creek are crossed on the way. There are views and waterfalls along the route. The track itself is slippery in places. It is listed as a grade 4 but some parts are grade 5. There is one very steep gully to cross and a couple of creeks.

(Updated Details) This walk forms part of the Great North Walk linking the centre of Sydney with Newcastle. Commencing at Thornleigh Station, we will make our way to the Thornleigh oval. Here we will leave suburbia and enter the Lane Cove National Park. As we descend into the valley we will enter Conscript Pass where a number of initials have been carved into the rocks. We follow the river to Browns Waterhole which is a shallow section of the Lane Cove River. The walk follows the river to De Burghs Bridge; the end of the walk. Here, walkers will have the option of catching a bus back to a Metro station or walking to Macquarie Park Metro Station. Steep descent sections of track into the valley. This section of the Prince Henry Cliff Walk was opened in 1934. You will be relieved to know that our first stop is at the bottom of Leura Mall for the public conveniences. Visit Tarpeian Rock, Leura Cascades, Echo Point, Katoomba Cascades and Reids Plateau. Although this walk follows the top of the cliffs, there are a lot of ups and downs. Map: Katoomba Limit: 20.
