Private property access has been arranged. Park at GR 790 997 on Long Ridge Trail and descend into a gully to the north west. Leave the gully when it turns north and traverse under the cliffs, generally north east. There are great views and caves to see, including the amazing Exploding Star Chamber. Continue up the Long Ridge Knife-edge spur, with more spectacular views along the way. About 6 km. Scrambling and exposure. Partly exploratory. Location: Wollemi NP Map: Mountain Lagoon 90313S View

Leader: Lynne Hewitt. Join us for a tour to this idyllic island just a hop, skip and a jump from Hawkesbury River Station, Brooklyn. Upon arrival on this car-free oasis of bush, beach and tranquillity, we will be welcomed by tree-lined palms and jacarandas. On the lower grounds we'll walk past the Bowling Club and Bradleys Beach. On the higher grounds we'll get great views of the Hawkesbury River. We'll also walk past a Blackbutt – Rough-barked Apple Forest. Enjoy the scenic train ride across the Hawkesbury River and a joy ferry ride to the island. Enjoy lunch or Devonshire tea at Dangar Island Depot before taking the ferry back home. Bring money for ferry ($8.50 one way adult, $4.30 one way concession (not sure seniors are considered concession)). View

Starting at Warrimoo Station walk along Florabella Pass and Green Point Track to Green Point Lookout, back to Florabella Pass towards Blaxland, turn off to Mules Track and on to Douglas Smith Park finishing at Glenbrook Station. Green Point Lookout is beautiful and not often included in bush walks. The Mule Track is also not often included in walks and is an interesting track. Steep and slippery sections and creek crossings. Limit: 15. View

This is a walk for those who love a good rock scramble and to explore the various pagodas, slots, ramps and other geological formations that make up this fascinating area. If you have ever wondered what it would be like to walk along and explore those amazing clifflines you see as you walk up from Airly Mountain property, then here's your chance! We warm up by climbing Pigeonhouse and hope for a brilliant view! We will then descend on the steep northwestern side, where the (ex) track is very overgrown and join Wombat Ridge Trail. We’ll follow this until we head on a footpad to Landslide Creek for a view into the valleys. Return same way, minus the final ascent to Pigeonhouse.     Limit: 12. View

Starting at the Blackheath Station, walk around Walls Ledge to Centennial Glen, then along Colliers Causeway and Porters Pass, Lamberts Lookout on to Fort Rock and finishing at Blackheath Station. If the forecast is a hot day, will do the walk in reverse. Beautiful view from Lamberts Lookout and Fort Rock and lovely rock faces alongside the Walls Ledge Track. Steep and slippery sections and creek crossings. Limit: 20. View

This walk covers many of the ecosystems in Royal NP, including rainforest and heathland, so the diversity is quite extraordinary and well worth lingering over! We won't rush and, given that there is a nice hill to climb, you'll appreciate that! Be careful of slippery creek crossings. The Bondi Sculptures by the Sea finishes on the 6th, and some dismantling might be starting, but we'll get an early start. This walk follows the sculpture trail from Bondi to Tamarama Beach, climbs up Tamarama Gully, crosses Bronte Park on the way to Waverley Cemetry, then south (not further than Coogee). (Fully Booked) Fitzroy Falls West Rim and East Rim Tracks provide spectacular views of the main falls, Twin Falls, the Grotto and the valley between the two tracks.  The vegetation is very different on each of the tracks. Extension to Plane crash site off track. Return to the car park for Melbourne Cup Festivities. Hazards:  Slippery rocks. Some off track for optional extension. Location: Morton NP Limit: 20. View

We'll meet at Cronulla Wharf to take the 8.30 am ferry to Bundeena. We'll walk to Bonnie Vale Campground, Cabbage Tree Basin. We'll do some exploring and see whether we can find some Aboriginal Rock Art around the area. We'll walk to Goosberry Bay, Costen Bay/Point and Yenabilly Point/Fishermens Bay to see the ruins around the area and some Aboriginal Arts, middens. Beautiful view overlooking Port Hacking River, South West Arm Creek estuary. A possible detour to Maianbar Trig. Walk back to Bundeena to catch the ferry back to Cronulla and train from Cronulla. Some slippery sections, wet sections, loose rocks, possible trip hazards walking around grassy and overgrown parts. Location: bundeena Limit: 10. View

Starting at Huskisson on this flat walk we will see many white sand beaches, a crystal clear creek, picnic areas and beautiful views of Jervis Bay. We may also see dolphins and whales and many of the local birds and lizards. We will also pass a historic boat ramp. We will finish with coffee at Vincentia or Huskisson. View

A short and pleasant walk, beautiful water views, beaches and bushland. From La Perouse we head to Little Congwong Beach, Henry Head Lighthouse, Cape Banks, historic cemetery, Jennifer Street and back to the bus stop/car park. Bush tracks may be rough in parts, beach with a bit of rock walking, some street walking.  Leader will meet you at La Perouse. Location: Inner Sydney Limit: 14. View

(Fully Booked) A return pack walk visit to Pretty Plain and Wheelers Huts with a few variations. Access via Dargals and Hell Hole Trails to Pretty Plain. Exit from Pretty Plain Hut via Strumbo and Dargals Trails. Exit from Wheelers via Dargals Trail. Absolutely lovely area with two of the best hut locations in Koscie. And some of the nicest Koscie scenery and bushland for us to enjoy. At the start and end of walk we stay at Ski Lodge at Jindabyne with the usual BBQ on the deck overlooking the lake. It is a hard life but someone has to do it! Location: Kosciuszko NP Limit: 15. View

On this trip we explore the ridge known as Zeus which is twice as long as one I previously walked over back in May, and no doubt will offer the adventurous walker plenty of opportunities to check out all the wonders of this location!
