Private property access has been arranged. Park at GR 790 997 on Long Ridge Trail and descend into a gully to the north west. Leave the gully when it turns north and traverse under the cliffs, generally north east. There are great views and caves to see, including the amazing Exploding Star Chamber. Leader: Lynne Hewitt. Join us for a tour to this idyllic island just a hop, skip and a jump from Hawkesbury River Station, Brooklyn. Upon arrival on this car-free oasis of bush, beach and tranquillity, we will be welcomed by tree-lined palms and jacarandas. On the lower grounds we'll walk past the Bowling Club and Bradleys Beach. On the higher grounds we'll get great views of the Hawkesbury River. We'll also walk past a Blackbutt – Rough-barked Apple Forest. Enjoy the scenic train ride across the Hawkesbury River and a joy ferry ride to the island. Enjoy lunch or Devonshire tea at Dangar Island Depot before taking the ferry back home. Bring money for ferry ($8.50 one way adult, $4.30 one way concession (not sure seniors are considered concession)). View |

Starting at Warrimoo Station walk along Florabella Pass and Green Point Track to Green Point Lookout, back to Florabella Pass towards Blaxland, turn off to Mules Track and on to Douglas Smith Park finishing at Glenbrook Station. Green Point Lookout is beautiful and not often included in bush walks. The Mule Track is also not often included in walks and is an interesting track. Steep and slippery sections and creek crossings. We warm up by climbing Pigeonhouse and hope for a brilliant view! We will then descend on the steep northwestern side, where the (ex) track is very overgrown and join Wombat Ridge Trail. We’ll follow this until we head on a footpad to Landslide Creek for a view into the valleys. Return same way, minus the final ascent to Pigeonhouse. Limit: 12. View |

This walk follows the sculpture trail from Bondi to Tamarama Beach, climbs up Tamarama Gully, crosses Bronte Park on the way to Waverley Cemetry, then south (not further than Coogee). We'll meet at Cronulla Wharf to take the 8.30 am ferry to Bundeena. We'll walk to Bonnie Vale Campground, Cabbage Tree Basin. We'll do some exploring and see whether we can find some Aboriginal Rock Art around the area. We'll walk to Goosberry Bay, Costen Bay/Point and Yenabilly Point/Fishermens Bay to see the ruins around the area and some Aboriginal Arts, middens. Beautiful view overlooking Port Hacking River, South West Arm Creek estuary. A possible detour to Maianbar Trig. Walk back to Bundeena to catch the ferry back to Cronulla and train from Cronulla. Some slippery sections, wet sections, loose rocks, possible trip hazards walking around grassy and overgrown parts. Location: bundeena Limit: 10. View |

(Fully Booked) A return pack walk visit to Pretty Plain and Wheelers Huts with a few variations. Access via Dargals and Hell Hole Trails to Pretty Plain. Exit from Pretty Plain Hut via Strumbo and Dargals Trails. Exit from Wheelers via Dargals Trail. Absolutely lovely area with two of the best hut locations in Koscie. And some of the nicest Koscie scenery and bushland for us to enjoy. At the start and end of walk we stay at Ski Lodge at Jindabyne with the usual BBQ on the deck overlooking the lake.
