Megalong Creek is a waterfall lover's paradise with so many gorgeous cascades and falls with sculptured rocks and pools, all within a place of granite and solitude. We will also follow the Coxs River downstream to where the McKanes Falls (Bowenfels) Bridge is reached as this section of the Coxs River is also in the granite belt and has numerous falls too. All worth a photo and a swim if you're feeling in the mood. Rock hopping and off-track. Location: Blue Mountains National Park Map: Hampton 89304S Limit: 12.

Why you may well ask? Stunning scenery with surprisingly wild country so close to Sydney, with some superb walking along Erskine Creek, which is rich in pools and cascades, as well as rugged clifflines. One of the pools is about a 100 metres long and it's a fantastic place for a swim of course! Also, expect to see lots of spring blossoms along the way as we meander down the creek. Basically a good hike for hedonists and nature lovers that won't fail to satisfy your inner cravings for the wild side of life! Rock scrambling. The Bondie to Maroubra Beach Coastal Walk is a 12 km clifftop walk that combines together several shorter walks including the Bondi to Coogee Walk into a route that links together all the main beaches in Sydney's eastern suburbs. The walk features stunning views, beaches, parks, cliffs, bays and rock pools. The beaches and parks offer various options to take a rest, have a swim or to eat at one of the cafes, hotels, restaurants or takeaways. After having done this wonderful walk in winter I vowed to return in the warmth of almost summer and experience its pristine pools and cascades with a swim or three as we meander our way along the very picturesque Little River. This is a no-hurry walk with lots of stops to fully savour our surroundings. Some scrambling. Location: Southern highlands Map: PICTON 9029-4-S Limit: 12.

Why would you want to do this you may well ask! Well, for starter,s you'll see an incredible display of glowworms that make the Glowworm Tunnel pale into insignificance. If lucky, you may also see glider possums, frogs, crayfish, bats and other denizens of the night. The one thing you won't see is the usual crowds that frequent the Grand Canyon in the daytime. Last time I did this walk we only encountered a couple of people. Bring a torch. Location: Blue Mountains National Park Map: Katoomba 89301S Limit: 20.

(Fully Booked) A walk in the upper reaches of the Grose River which will probably surprise you with its diversity including some truly outstanding examples of pagodas and overhang caves. There should also be quite a few late flowering flowers out too. Expect about 50% off-track walking and some rock scrambling along the way, but nothing too demanding. People booking this will have preference for the night walk I'm planning later on in the evening after dinner. Location: Blue Mountains National Park Map: mt.wilson Limit: 12.
