Come along and explore a part of the Blue Mountains that few have ever visited as it's hidden away, although it's not that far from the beaten track. Megalong Creek is a waterfall lover's paradise with so many gorgeous cascades and falls with sculptured rocks and pools, all within a place of granite and solitude. We will also follow the Coxs River downstream to where the McKanes Falls (Bowenfels) Bridge is reached as this section of the Coxs River is also in the granite belt and has numerous falls too. All worth a photo and a swim if you're feeling in the mood. Hazards: Rock hopping and off-track. Location: Blue Mountains National Park Map: Hampton 89304S Limit:12. T: From: 5 Oct 2024, 8:00AM |
