Please provide mobile no.  Following the footsteps of Mal January, we walk The Great Blue Mountains Trail from Medlow Bath to Katoomba. Highlights : Norths Lookout, Therabulat Lookout, Six Foot Track, Cliff Walk, the Explorers Tree, beautiful forests and views.  On the way to Katoomba, we'll also walk the old Catalina Raceway and Walford Lake track.  We'll also see the the aboriginal display track. If at least 2 others are interested, Bandula will take a few people to do some  additional walking. If you fancy chocolates,  a visit to Blue Mts Chocolate Co 176 Lurline St is highly recommended. Steep and slipppery sections.

This coastal NP offers a mix of wilderness and less wild walking experiences. We will explore a variety of walks in the Mallacoota region. Contact leader for information pack. Joint activity with Illawarra Ramblers - joint limit. UPDATE: Given the extreme fire impact in the region this is trip is being reviewed. Presently we are still planning to go (13+ people confirmed) to do our part to support the community in Mallacoota. From the first car, find a way down to the river at about GR 629 924. Continue down the river for as long as the time allows, probably till around GR 640 950. Find a way up to the second car. Exploratory. Scrambling and exposure. Wetsuits-required; helmets-compulsory; lilos-optional. Approximate distances – 3.5-4 km on the river; 7 km overall.

Camp | An activity that involves an overnight stay, usually in a tent.Swim | A trip that involves swimmingWalk | A bushwalk of any kind short or longWe start with a walk down on the Jack Evans track to Erskine Creek in the Glenbrook area of Blue Mountains NP. We then walk upstream to an excellent swimming pool on the junction with Lincoln/Monkey Ropes Creek.  Spend the day swimming and stay the night at a nice campsite near the pool. Return will be a short walk along Monkey Ropes Creek and up a new track to return to the cars. This is a perfect way to spend a weekend.
