What better way to catch up our new and old NPA friends at the beautiful Lane Cove National Park? Let's have a picnic! Bring your favourite food for a picnic. After the picnic, you can enjoy a paddle (PFDs compulsory), a walk or just enjoy the park. A guided walk will be on offer at 1 pm. It's a hidden gem. From Fullers Bridge, we'll walk along the river, visiting Mowbray Park, Batten Reserve and Stringy Bark Reserve.

Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or longPublic Transport | There are public transport options to and from this activity.(DRAFT - do not publish yet) RSVP not accepted until 2 weeks prior.  We start from Pennant Hills Station, walk along Model Aircraft Trail, Pennant Hills Trail, Lane Cove Valley Walk to the Cannon Road Recreation Area, where we will visit the Dog Paw Cave(Rocks). After lunch, we will retrace our steps to do the STEP track. The  STEP Track was established by STEP a community based environmental organisation based in South Turramurra. It is one of the most enjoyable walks in the Lane Cove valley.  We go out to the scenic lookout and spend some time around the waterfall. Then we walk along Devlins Creek to visit the Whale Walk and head to Cheltenham station. Bush-bash, slippery and steep tracks. View
