Folk opting for the easier version will just do the usual ascent of Pigeon House, return to carpark, then drive to Yadboro camping area on the Clyde River for afternoon tea. The more adventurous will ascend Pigeon House by usual route for morning tea on summit. On descent leave usual track and go north to Wombat Ridge firetrail, then west down Longfella Pass, very steep rough descent on firetrails to reach Yadboro. A well-deserved afternoon billy tea with the other walkers to finish the day. Then hitch a ride with them back to Pigeon House carpark. Grade 3 or 4: Medium or Medium/Hard. Limit: 10 for the harder option. Contact leader essential at least a week beforehand so car shuffle logistics can be arranged.

Walk back to Bowen Hill Trail. Exploratory. About 6 km. Scrambling and exposure.

Roads to Lennox Bridge (oldest bridge on mainland Australia). Track up to Marge's L/o, then Elizabeth's L/o. Steep track down to the majestic Knapsack Bridge. Track under railway and M4 tunnel to Leonay Oval. Path to Nepean River. Cross Nepean River on GWH foot bridge. Paths through Tench Reserve. A section of road, Cross Yanghai footbridge over the Nepean River again. Footpath to Emu Plains Station. Possible option of a late lunch at O'Donoghues pub at own expense. However bring snacks or your lunch just incase we are later than expected.... Steep, rough, could be slippery whether wet or dry leaves.

Commencing at the Glow Worm Glen car park the path winds through forest with a couple of little creek crossings.  Continue on the track to the left of the Glow Worm Glen steps which winds along to Buchanan's Lookout.  Optional opportunity to continue to Ellsmore Lookout.  Enjoy the beautiful view while having lunch and return by the same route. Hazards: Rough track, slippery rocks, unfenced cliff edges.

On the way back explore the new track along the coast back to Pretty. Some uphill and down, along rock platforms, up and down constructed steps, short section on the Pebbly Road. The walk is long but pace will be steady with plenty of time to swim on the way back. Option to camp at Pretty the night before. Whole day walk. Should be back in camp by 4:30 pm. Grade 3/4: Medium. Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or long(Fully Booked) We are repeating the Heritage Festival 2022 walking tour of Cooks River by Terry Lennis, a proud D'harawal man, local elder and Aboriginal horticulturalist. The recent history of this area is well documented, but this is an opportunity to hear the Indigenous perspective on the history and current uses of the rivers and waterways. Terry Lennis is one of the knowledge holders for the Midjuburi Ward and he will take you on a bush tucker foraging journey along one of the Inner West's special waterways.
