 There is a choice of 2 walks. Folk opting for the easier version will just do the usual ascent of Pigeon House, return to carpark, then drive to Yadboro camping area on the Clyde River for afternoon tea. The more adventurous will ascend Pigeon House by usual route for morning tea on summit. On descent leave usual track and go north to Wombat Ridge firetrail, then west down Longfella Pass, very steep rough descent on firetrails to reach Yadboro. A well-deserved afternoon billy tea with the other walkers to finish the day. Then hitch a ride with them back to Pigeon House carpark. Grade 3 or 4: Medium or Medium/Hard. Limit: 10 for the harder option. Contact leader essential at least a week beforehand so car shuffle logistics can be arranged. Location: Morton NP Map: Milton 89272N Limit:10.
