We will venture up to Blands Pool via Dadder cave and there will enough time to relax or explore the local nooks and crannies to your hearts content. Rock scrambling and hopping in parts.

This provides a lovely lunch place among the rocks with wonderful views into Upper Kangaroo Valley. Rough track, fallen trees, unfenced cliffs and steep ascent/descent.

Some great campsites; some nice swimming holes; mostly short days; with at least one 2-night stop, all make this a really terrific walk. There is great demand for the limited walk permits at this time of the year so we need to book close to the possible one-year in advance. Seven days (6 nights) of actual walking. A day of snorkeling on the reef prior to the walk is also planned.

The track is sometimes overgrown and difficult to locate. Rough track, steep sections, slippery rocks and unfenced cliff edges.

The St John Ambulance Provide First Aid course covers a broad range of topics to enable participants to confidently manage emergency situations and provide a first aid response to a casualty. It is suitable for both people in workplaces and members of the public who want training in first aid. Return by the same route. Indistinct and easily lost track, rough track, fallen trees, slippery rocks and unfenced cliff edges.

Continue to Richmond Road cycle path, then onto Windsor. I have booked a room at the Windsor Hotel, 54 George Street, Windsor. Best to book your accommodation early, after contacting leader. Accommodation | An activity that involves an overnight stay, using hard-roofed accommodation such as a cabin, hut or hotel.Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or long(Fully Booked) Co-leader: Ewan Cain.  We walk 100km from Apollo Bay to The Twelve Apostles of the Great Ocean Walk in Victoria. It would involve driving to Apollo Bay to start walk. Total walking days are 7 . Total nights of accommodation are 10.  This would require 1 night of accommodation between Sydney and Apollo Bay before the walk and 1 night after the walk. We will be staying at Bimbi Park which offers Cabins, on site vans, camping pods, powered and unpowered sites.  If you were considering  staying in a tent, please be aware that the condition of GOW is unpredictable and can be extremely windy.  Transport to start of day walks will involve car shuffles.  Distance of day walks vary between 12 to 18 km but they do not involve difficult terrains and the daily accumulated elevation is no more than 600m. This GOW walk is back to back to a 7 day Grampians walk.  You have the option to extend to the additional full week or to the number of preferred days.  See different posting. When you enquire, please send your walking history and whether you can share your vehicle with others. Self catering. You are free to take rest days, but may have to help with car shuffle. A certificate of completion will be awarded to those who complete the whole 100km. Walks will be grade 3 walks. This is a back to back walk with GOW (The Great Ocean Walk). GOW is between 11/10/2020 to 20/10/2020. You have the option of doing just The Grampians or doing both. We will travel from The Twelve Apostles to Grampians on 20/10. We plan to stay a week in Halls Gap Caravan  Park where you can choose your own preferred accommodation. In your expression of interest, please state walking experience and whether you can take extra passengers including the vehicle that you will bring.

There will be a car shuttle between Hawkesbury River Station and the Old Mooney Mooney Bridge (30 mins 26 km), and participants must come in a car with no more than the driver and 1 passenger. The Great North Walk is a 250 km walk from Sydney to Newcastle along bush tracks. The Sydney to Wondabyne walks were completed in 2019. Sections 9 to 16 will be continuous day walks from Saturday, 22 May to Saturday, 29 May 2021 staying overnight en-route; glamping for 3 nights, staying in a pub/hotel for 3 nights and at a caravan park for 1 night. To start the walk, all walkers will assemble at Noonaweena glamping site by nightfall on Friday, 22 May for an early start on Saturday, 23 May. Car shuffles will be required for all sections and participants will need to come in a car with no more than 1 other participant. The disused Glenbrook Tunnel is steeped in history. It was used as a secret site for mustard gas storage in World War II and in recent years housed a mushroom farm that one local MP called a "doss house". Glenbrook Lagoon is a rare upland wetland that is one of only three of its kind in the entire Hawkesbury-Nepean System. Wallaby, birds, magestic gum trees, Rock Orchids and possibly other orchids. Some very steep and slippery parts. Some ropes and steps were in place to assist with climbing.
