Mostly level walking through reserves and quiet streets. Water views at lunchtime. Mostly formed sealed tracks and footpaths. Some unsealed surfaces which may be slippery and/or muddy after rain. Some steps, shared cycleways. One short steep descent and one short but very steep ascent on sealed paths, which we will take at a very slow pace. Train return to city from Oatley. View

Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or longBonnum Pic is a spectacular peak which rises above the Wollondilly River, but on this trip we will approach it without a big climb by following the rocky Escarpment Route which is a wonderful skyline traverse and hopefully the flowers will be out in force. Last time we didn't quite make it to the end so I'm hoping to do better this time! Rock scrambling.

Then two wonderful days to chill out at the best bush campsite in the Blue Mountains with nice side trips. The final day is a walk back up the hill to the cars (sigh!). A "resort" but still a solid full pack walk to get there and back. Mostly off-track walking.

Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or longFind out why this unique unprotected area, part of the Gardens of Stone region, must be protected for future generations. Park vehicles on the Blackfellows Hand Trail at GR 327 090. Walk north down into Temple Creek, then turn west and walk along the base of the cliffs to Last Crusade Point and Ravine. Climb to the tops, then descend into Holy Grail Ravine. Walk to the end, then climb out on the eastern side and return to the vehicles. Scrambling and exposure.
