|(NEW!!!) (Updated Details) This trip explores the middle section of the canyon. No abseils, but tape will be carried.
Park one car at Range Hill on Bells Line of Road at GR 558 834 and another one at GR 575 852 on Bells Line of Road. From the first car, enter the canyon at GR 557 855. Continue to GR 575 862. Walk up to the second car. Bring helmet and dry bags. Wet suit recommended. Exploratory. You must be a confident swimmer. Scrambling and exposure.

|Find out why this spectacular and threatened area must be protected for future generations. Park at GR 396 071 off Sunnyside Ridge Road and walk east to the head of a tributary of Wild Gorge. Descend it, visiting Dome Cave along the way, then explore both branches of the gorge, including Pinch Point Circle. Move south east and out towards Carne Creek. Locate a ledge that leads towards Cosmic Cave. Exit via Split Rock Point and Pass. Re-connect with the cars. Scrambling and exposure. 5M, S223E

|We walk down to Flint and Steel Beach from the West Head Road and then follow tracks to White Horse Beach. Then we go off-track for about 30 minutes until we come to Hungry Beach. A track leads from there to a great Hawkesbury River Lookout and then we find the old Jims Track back to the road. View|

|Visit Portal Waterhole. Drive on to Euroka Clearing. From here walk to Nepean River and back. Clay surface on track near Portal Waterhole can be slippery.

|3-5 Mar, Sat-Mon||Growee Gulf to Goat Mountain in Bylong Labyrinth|
|Note: there is currently an open fire ban in the Wollemi National Park, to be reviewed on 28/02/18. We may only be able to use gas stoves.
Day 1 - Saturday 3 March. Park at Growee Gulf on Bylong Valley Way. Use Deliverance Gully to gain Growee Range, then follow it east to Key Saddle. Descend into Lee Creek for overnight camp. Distance 10km. Day 2 - Sunday 4 March. With day packs, return to Key Saddle, then traverse a tight and convoluted ridge towards Goat Mountain, as far as the time permits, before returning to the camp. Day 3 - Monday 5 March. Make our way back to the cars along Growee Range and down through Wanda Wanda Crater and Gully. Distance 10km. Partly exploratory. Scrambling and exposure. Numbers are strictly limited.

|Hat Hill Canyon has the advantage of being close to Sydney and is superb in parts with wonderfully constricted sections and views aplenty. Rock scrambling and hopping and 1 short rope assisted section.
