Optional side tracks along the way. The weather should be good enough for a swim if you are so inclined. Bring a snack because the view is too beautiful not to have a relax at. Coffee afterwards at Anglers Cafe, Lake Conjola.

An easy and gentle downhill stroll to the Georges River, with heathland to explore on one side, and rainforest in the gully. There are wildflowers here that are seldom found elsewhere other than in the upper Georges. Orchids and ferns. We can take our time to fossick through this most interesting area. The Old Ford Track was originally the main road from Campbelltown to Heathcote. Roughish walking surface. Some drop offs. Bunyips

Canyon | A trip through a canyon (a gully surrounded by tall cliffs).(NEW!!!) (Updated Details) This trip explores the middle section of the canyon. No abseils, but tape will be carried. Park one car at Range Hill on Bells Line of Road at GR 558 834 and another one at GR 575 852 on Bells Line of Road. From the first car, enter the canyon at GR 557 855. Continue to GR 575 862. Walk up to the second car. Bring helmet and dry bags. Wet suit recommended. Exploratory. You must be a confident swimmer. Scrambling and exposure.

Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or longFind out why this spectacular and threatened area must be protected for future generations. Park at GR 396 071 off Sunnyside Ridge Road and walk east to the head of a tributary of Wild Gorge. Descend it, visiting Dome Cave along the way, then explore both branches of the gorge, including Pinch Point Circle. Move south east and out towards Carne Creek. Locate a ledge that leads towards Cosmic Cave. Exit via Split Rock Point and Pass. Re-connect with the cars. Scrambling and exposure. 5M, S223E

Then we go off-track for about 30 minutes until we come to Hungry Beach. A track leads from there to a great Hawkesbury River Lookout and then we find the old Jims Track back to the road. View

Watsons Bay to The Gap, Macquarie Lighthouse, Vaucluse House, Neilson Park (optional swim) & Heritage Walk to Rose Bay. Easy walking with harbour & ocean views. Bring snacks, water and lunch. This is a Great Ocean Walk (March 2018) meet and greet, but all NPA members are welcome. Members who wish to do the Great Ocean Walk are encouraged to join. Slippery and rugged sections at times.
