Follow Hat Hill Road to Perrys Lookdown Car park and descend, 670m, to the Grose River. Possible side trip to the Blue Gum Forest. Cross the Grose River and ascend 390m to Du Faur Head. Continue along Lockley Track with side trip to Lockley Pylon to car park. Cliff edges, river crossing, slippery sections.

|(Updated Details) Leader: Sheila Walker, tel: 0408 588 400. Walls Ledge - Colliers Causway -Porters Pass. On the western side of Blackheath, this spectacular track passes along ledges, cliff tops and a little canyon. The walk takes about 4 hours. Train back from Blackheath at 3:14 pm or 3:44 pm. This is a Great Ocean Walk (March 2018) meet and greet but all NPA members are welcome. Members who wish to do the Great Ocean Walk are encouraged to join. No need to contact leader but RSVP by email is appreciated. Some eroded, but manageable sections with steps and handrails.

|Mountain Lagoon to Colo Meroo Campground via Gospers Ridge and Mailes Ridge, steep final descent to Colo River, superb views along the way. Camping on grassy flats alongside the river, with the opportunity for some off-track exploring and/or river walking as the mood takes us. Return the following day, 600m ascent. |Wentworth Falls to Katoomba. Commencing from Kedumba Valley Road descend and cross Kedumba River. Steep ascent to Mt Solitary. Continue uphill to eventual descent of the Koorowall Knife-edge. Follow Ruined Castle Ridge Track with a steep ascent up the Golden Stairs to the finish line. A classic Blue Mountains walk with two big up and down sections. Cliff edges, river crossing, loose rocks and slippery sections.

|Aherns Lookout is found by following the beginning of Starlights Track. Take a left fork leading to Rocky Waterholes Lookout and just past this junction look for a right turn which meanders along the ridge to Aherns Lookout. This gives views over the Nattai with Mt Jellore easily identified. Return by the same route. Rough track, fallen trees and unfenced cliffs.

|Park on Wolgan Road at GR 370 191 (The Style). Walk up south east to the saddle on top of Donkey Mountain at GR 376 183. Descend to the first ledge on the southern side and explore it to its full extent. Return to the saddle and come down to the second ledge. Visit Masterpiece Wall and the cave before it. Retrace to about GR 373 181, climb back on top from there, then descend to the cars. Exploratory. Scrambling and exposure.
