Canyon | A trip through a canyon (a gully surrounded by tall cliffs).Public Transport | There are public transport options to and from this activity.Birrabang Canyon/Grose Valley Lookout. A very pretty canyon with lots of crayfish. No abseils but wet feet guaranteed. Volleys/sneakers recommended. Gaiters useful. Mostly off-track with some scrambling and a short ledge sidle where you wet everything if you fall in. A magnificent lunch spot with superb views into the Grose Valley. A steep scrambly descent into the canyon, slippery rocks and some jump downs but generally nothing too dramatic. A steepish climb out.

From our starting point at Mt Selwyn we travel via the following huts 4 Mile Dam, Broken Dam, Brooks, Mackeys, O'Keefes, Derschkos and Round Mountain. Camping near many of these as they offer shelter when the weather turns foul and good flat campsites. The highlight of the trip is climbing Mt Jagungal from Okeefes Hut, but the various frost hollow plains and what are usually spectacular floral displays are also worth coming along for! Contact leader for more details. Off-track walking in parts.

Camp | An activity that involves an overnight stay, usually in a tent.Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or long(Fully Booked) The Walls of Jerusalem is probably my favourite walking area in Australia and on this trip we will travel via the Lake Rowallen entry point into this incredibly beautiful area and spend a couple of days exploring the various peaks, tarns, lakes and forests that this world heritage area has to offer. Then we will follow the lakes track past lakes Adelaide Meston and Junction to where we enter the Never Never region, taking this to Hartnett Falls. From here it's following the Overland Track past Bert Nichols Hut then diverging for a side trip to Pine Valley to explore the Labyrinth and climb the Acropolis and if time allows Mt Geryon. This is a walk you won't want to miss as we will discover a world of uncommon beauty, including masses of flowering herbs and shrubs, towering mountains worth climbing! Mostly on tracks with sections of open country off-track. Limit: 12. View

Then follows 2 day walks climbing Mt Canobla and Point Anderson both of which offer fantastic views of the surrounding Gardens of Stone National Park. This basecamp has reliable water, acres of grassy river flats to camp on and no crowds and is one of my favourite campsites ever! A bit of rock scrambling here and there.

Access is via a friendly land owner and I plan to stay at a nearby hotel the night before so we can get an early start. Rock scrambling.

The track branches off the Nattai Ridge Road to follow a fence line to a track leading to magnificent sandstone cliffs. The track then continues on to join the Rocky Water Holes Track. Walk starts at end of Wattle Ridge Rd at the locked gate. Rough track, slippery creek crossings and scrambling up loose scree slopes.

This walk is along the first part of the Bonnum Pic Track. Leaving the fire trail there are a couple of steep gullies to negotiate before joining an old fire trail and then a bush track leading to the escarpment. Wildflowers are prolific and the view spectacular. Walk starts at Wanganderry Fire Trail yards. Steep rough track slippery creek crossing, fallen trees, unfenced cliff edges.
