Rising high above the Nattai River is the imposing peak of Bonnum Pic whose spire like appearance has attracted walkers for generations. The walk out to this feature follows an amazing ridge full of interesting pagoda like rocks with fabulous views all along the way. Two separate walks to two peaks in different areas of the beautiful Guula Ngurra NP, with a minor car shuffle. The Mt Penang loop walk follows a pleasant, well-formed track up to the summit of Mt Penang with its panoramic views. The track winds steadily uphill with a short, steep climb at the end. The Baldy Billy Peak walking track is an out-and-back walk to another summit with spectacular views down into the Wollondilly R valley below. After an initial short but very steep descent we cross a pretty, wide valley floor and then start the slow, steady climb to the summit of Baldy Billy Peak and then return along the same route.   Steep climbs & descents, uneven surfaces, indistinct track in places, unfenced cliff edges, slippery in places (walking poles recommended). Sunnyside canyon is essentially a dry canyon although you might get wet feet. It is characterised by some amazing chambers along its length, with Acoustic being the biggest and most spectacular. As you enter the canyon there are some superb pagodas which are also worth exploring too, but the most stunning formation is along the cliffs to the west of the canyon itself. This rocky outlier is called Foxs Wedge and it is indeed a sight to behold! On this trip there will be plenty of time to explore the various nooks and crannies of the concentrated and fascinating location. rock scrambling/offtrack walking Location: Gardens of Stone NP Limit: 12. A steep but rewarding walk with views of the district. By starting early we hope to avoid the crowds. The steepest section is now a gentler zig-zag. There are great views from the peak in all directions making the climb worthwhile. We will take a short break on the way up and then have a more extensive break just below the peak on the way down – celebrating all mothers. Bring your own cup and some extra water and the leader will provide hot drinks. Morning tea to share would be great. Lunch back at the cars. Limit:12 - preference given to Mothers, new members and those who have never been to Pigeon House before. A series of ladders at the top with railings and resting platforms, plenty of encouragement for those queasy with heights. Location: Morton NP Limit: 12. View

(NEW!!!) Taking Engadine Track down to Kangaroo Creek. Follow upstream along indistinct paths either side of Kangaroo Creek crossing it several times. Creek levels depend on recent rains so be prepared for wet feet. Along Bottle Forest Track to the Olympic Pool, a chance for a cool dip in this large natural pool. Continuing onto Karloo Pool and Karloo Track to Heathcote Station. A remote and peaceful walk in the natural beauty of Royal NP. Creeking crossing, rock hopping and offtrack bush. Limit: 15. View

This incredibly scenic walk with spectacular coastal views along cliffs & water’s edge is my favourite. We will pass some world famous attractions along the way - wedding cake rock, eagle rock, bottle 8 pool, palm jungle. We will walk along bush tracks, lots boardwalks, beaches, & some harder & steeper sections. Going home you will be rewarded with an exciting ferry ride.
