|From Newnes we will walk to our superlative basecamp at Canobla Gap via Little Capertee Creek, the famous Red Rocks and Canobla Creek. Then follows 2 day walks climbing Mt Canobla and Point Anderson both of which offer fantastic views of the surrounding Gardens of Stone National Park. This basecamp has reliable water, acres of grassy river flats to camp on and no crowds and is one of my favourite campsites ever! A bit of rock scrambling here and there.

|(DRAFT - do not publish yet) Jointly led by Ewan Cain and Esther Chow. We shall drive to Warrumbungles on 29/4/19 via Bathurst, Orange and Dubbo. We shall do walks such as the Bread Knife and spend half day sightseeing. On 3/5/19, we'll drive to Mudgee where we'll spend 2 nights. In the afternoon, we'll do some sightseeing. |A shorter pack walk from Hilltop, near Mittagong, down the Starlight Track to camp on the Nattai River (Macarthur Flat). Lovely scenery and a great campsite in the valley with tall cliffs around.

|(NEW!!!) Mid May – Early June 2019 Tour of Azerbaijan, Georgia and Armenia. Expressions of interest sought for a tour of the above countries for 21 days. The proposed itinerary will take us to many of the well know sights within these countries where we will see museums of craft and ancient and modern art, bazaar’s, local village life and crafts, mud volcanoes, learn about the Zoroastrian worship, see ancient rock paintings, visit a unique cave complex, ride the longest cable in the world, see the first official Christian church along with many more sight along the way. We will have several cooking master classes of the local food as well as visiting several wineries along the way. The tour also includes a 20km day walk through the Shahdag National Park, an 8 km day walk through Dilijan National Park, a small hike to what is called “The Symphony of Stones”, 4x4 jeeps to the foot of Mount Kazbek (2170m) and visits to valleys and waterfalls along the way. |(Date Changed) The annual trip to Splendour Rock in the Blue Mountains, this time on the weekend of full moon. Just two weeks later, in Chile, this moon has a meeting with the sun in a total eclipse. Splendour Rock is a wonderful experience seeing the landscape under full moon, and at sunrise and sunset! This is a lovely trip with an unforgettable view from the campsite.

|(Fully Booked) Steal some time off in September 2019. We walk the length of the Great Walk on the Fraser Island at a leisurely pace taking 8 days. We will have two food drops on the way and so the packs will not be too heavy. A lovely walk with a variety of vegetation and scenery, beautiful lakes, and spectacular sand dunes. The tall trees in the Valley of the Giants are a must to see! Spaces strictly limited because of transport requirements along the beaches of Fraser Island. Limit: 13. View|

|(DRAFT - do not publish yet) This walk starts at a small isolated train station, and takes in some great scenery on the way to Woy Woy station. The walk gets most of the climbing out of the way quickly. Once up on the main ridge there are great views along the Hawkesbury River and Mooney Mooney Creek. Highlights of the walk include Kariong Brook Falls and Mt Wondabyne, the highest point in the area. We will catch a taxi from Woy Woy landfill to Woy Woy Station to avoid 4 km of boring road walk.

|(DRAFT - do not publish yet) Meet on platform at Hawkesbury River Station. Take ferry from Brooklyn to Little Wobby. Explore Pacific Trail, Horseshoe Trail and Midway Ridge Trail. Superb views, grass trees abound, lots of wildflowers. Return to Brooklyn by ferry in the afternoon. Bring exact fare for ferry (return fare is adult $15.40 and $7.80 for seniors), lunch, drinks and snacks. Slippery sections, some bush bashing and rock scrambling.
