This is a magnificent walk focusing on the Harbour itself – the expanse of water, the bridges, islands, urban bushland and city skyline. The route winds along parts of the foreshore, into bays and on to headlands, through bush, along historic streets and over grand bridges. Part 1 starts from Circular Quay and finishes at Greenwich Wharf. Bring water, snacks and lunch. Some slippery sections.

The long, gentle climb along Shepherds Gully has some beautiful scenery and some historic remnants of the Old Great North Road. This walk will be on pad in places with a good deal of off-track. The descent from Great Groaner to camp at Central Christys is steep and rough. The return journey begins with a steep ascent and then is a case of dodging banksia heath before entering forest terrain. Joint walk with Sydney Bush Walkers (SBW).

Caravan, cabin, motel or camp. Evans Crown, Gouches Crater, Hassans Walls, Deep Pass, BlackFellows Hands, Blackmans Crown, Dunns Swamps Pagodas and Ferntree Gully Nature Reserve. All of the walks are short possibly 4km or less but you will need to be agile, enjoy exploring. Climbing and scrambling, can be some exposure at heights.
