  Not too far off the glow worm road is an amazing dissected plateau known as Rock Island which for the enquiring bushwalker, is a place of great interest! Topped with interesting pagodas and with various nooks, crannies and overhangs to explore, it's certainly worth the effort of getting there! rock scrambling

    (Fully Booked - Ask leader about waiting list) The Mt Kaputar National Park is a walkers paradise with a variety of tracks taking the adventurous bushwalker to a wide range of peaks worth climbing including the incredible Yulludinada crater and Mt. Coryah to name a few. Included within the park are some amazing locations such as Waa Gorge and Sawn Rocks all worth a serious look! I plan to seek and out and enjoy as many of the stunning features of this wonderful national park with 4 full days of walking plus time on the Thursday for a short hike after we arrive and another short walk on the Tuesday morning before we drive home. At Dawsons Springs and Bark Hut are excellent campsites with full shower amenities as well as gas BBQs for cooking and shelters/seating at the campsites. For those who want more comfort there are 3 cabins for hire, accommodating up to 10 people.
The driving time from Sydney to the park is approximately 6 hours and 45 minutes.

 Good Friday Walk: Bush tracks, River walk and churches
- Clarke's Pt reserve, Kelly's bush: This is a beautiful short and simple route that explores Clarkes Point Reserve and the heritage-listed bushland, Kellys Bush Park, on the southern foreshore of the Woolwich area in Sydney.
- Churches in Hunters Hill: All Saints Church, Ferry Street, the Congregational Church Garden, Alexandra Street; across the overpass to St Joseph’s Convent, Gladesville Road and Rocher Avenue to Villa Maria,
- Boronia Park Reserve along the Lane Cove River. Along the route you can enjoy beautiful views over the water as you walk near sections of mangroves that hold a variety of bird and wildlife species. There are sections of boardwalk along the way to keep things interesting too.

  (Date Changed) For the full (23km) trip we will launch from Audley. For those wanting a shorter (17km) paddle will launch from Swallow Rock Reserve, Grays Point. We will make our way down Hacking River and up SW Arms Ck into the RNP & stopping at Winnifred Falls for lunch then return.
Participants to provide their own craft & are required to wear a correctly fitted PFD. Tidal. Deep water. Possible wake from motorboats.

  (NEW!!!) The day starts at Grosvenor Place, 225 George Street Sydney. An iconic masterpiece by Harry Seidler. We meet at the piazza where you can have lunch, eg coffee shop, Yum Cha Project. Then we walk to Sydney Observatory, Barangaroo and along the water front to St Mary's Cathedral. We can have afternoon tea under the Harbour Bridge Pylon, then walk to IGA where you can buy something for a picnic around the Cathedral. We’ll gather around the Eastern Door of the cathedral at 6pm.We will climb the stairs at the conclusion of mass. The mass starts at 5:30. You are welcome to attend the mass. We'll see the bells being rung by the St Mary's bellringers from 6.15pm and we can see the bells hanging in the belfry afterwards at 7.15pm. Finishing time will be approximately 7.30pm Fitness is required for this walk. There are 111 spiral stairs to the ringing room and a few flights of stairs to the belfry. Many steps. This is a rare opportunity that only a few members can join. Only RSVP if you can commit 100%. Limit: 6.

The Pretty Plain area is a lovely part of Kosciuszko National Park. Great scenery, lovely bushland, and two of the best of the huts to camp nearby. Even better, we spend multiple days near each hut (two nights at Pretty Plain and three nights at Wheelers).
Access is via Dargals and Hell Hole Trails to Pretty Plain. We return along Pretty Plain and take the shortcut across to Wheelers Hut. Return is again via Dargals Trail.
At the start and end of walk we stay at a Ski Lodge at Jindabyne with the usual BBQs on the deck overlooking the lake. A lovely walk with lots of relaxing time.
