Starting from Medlow Bath railway station, walk down to Tuckers Lookout, Sun Bath, on to the Glen Rosa track along the cliff line above the Colosseum, passing the remains of the old flying fox and 3 brothers to Ngula Bulgarabang reserve (formerly Radiata Plateau) to Explorer Tree and Norths Lookout. On this trip we will experience not 1 but 3 canyons with Du Faur Canyon being the main course. The equally spectacular, but much shorter October Creek being the entree, and the Joes Canyon the dessert for what promises to be a superb day swimming, paddling and savouring these amazingly beautiful locations. I can promise you an amazing aquatic time! You'll need a helmet, wetsuit and I recommend a flotation device such as a surfmat, and life jacket as there are some longish swims involved. From Watertrough Hill, follow a series of ridges north east and get into the Wollangambe River at around GR 526 916. Swim/float/walk/scramble down the gorge to either the Big Bend or, if time allows, to Wollangambe One entry. Must be able to swim well. Flotation device and helmet are mandatory. Bring dry bags. We will follow the River Trail at Chatswood to Brown’s waterhole & then join Terrys Creek to Eastwood. We will walk amongst tall trees & shrubs with birds chirping amongst them in the middle of suburbia. We will walk along the creeks & the waterways most of the time. Drive to NP entry Gate along Ridgewell Road, park cars and walk along firetrail towards Hanging Rock, but turn off to follow the ridge trail to Burra Korain Head. There is a lookout on the way where you could see Baltzer Lookout and the track down to Hanging Rock. The Head has several viewing points over Grose River valley and Victoria Creek. Return the same way. Group limit of 8 applies as it is in the Gross Wilderness Area. Cars required. Please inform whether driving when requesting booking. Steep and slippery sections. (Leader Changed) From the campground at Beehive Point we will head up Yarrunga Creek for 4 kms to the head of waters. On the way we will view the magnificient stone walls of the original road from Kangaroo Valley to Mossvale. See the old Timealong Track Road disappear into the waters of Lake Yarrunga and reappear further upstream. On return to Beehive Point we can optionally poke around the numerous inlets for some bonus paddles.

The 10km Manly Scenic Walkway beings at Manly Wharf, passes sandy beaches, ancient Aboriginal sites and incredible lookouts, before arriving at the Spit Bridge where you can catch a bus to the city.
