Mark G. |
Above Carne Creek are a series of spectacular caves, Weather, Rain, Gemini, Micheangelo and Twin Arch to name a few, and they are all worth visiting. Below these via the aptly named Miracle Slot are outcrops of superb pagodas, the Pyramid Rocks also worth exploring. This isn't a long trip distance wise but it will excite and delight you! Rock scrambling and off-track.
I've had this walk on the program on 2 previous occasions and I was thwarted both times in doing this trip because the Glowworm Tunnel Road was closed. I'm hopeing that this will be 3rd time lucky! Off-track walking and rock scrambling. Location: Wollemi NP Map: Cullen Bullen 89313N Limit: 15.
