(Cancelled) CANCELLED due to Park Closure - Areal Baiting. A circular walk in the Southern section of Bangadilly NP. Combining management tracks, walking trails & open cross country we will walk through an interesting blend of Sydney Basin & Tableland flora & also walk along a rarely visited section of the Wingecarribee River. If there are sufficient resources available, there may be an optional detour for some of the walkers that will involve an additional climb followed by a short but steep descent.

Kamakah Gully is a dry narrow canyon, almost dark in short sections as it winds through the sandstone.
We will walk from Bells Line of Road along the ridge beside Kamakah Gully and then enter the gully from a shoulder following the foot pad down. Once in the gully the walk follows the stream up into the canyon as it narrows and twists its way through the sandstone to the point where the canyon ends. Limited exposure during final decent to mouth of canyon. Off-track navigation through thin bush. Location: Blue Mountains National Park Map: Mount Wilson 89301N Limit: 12. View |

From Steamers Beach carpark we follow fire trails and a short on road section to Stoney Creek for morning tea and a swim if hot. We then proceed south westerly on rough tracks to Paradise Rock for lunch with a view, then a short but rough, steep and scrubby off-track section should land us on Steamers Beach for a snack and maybe another swim, and then the main track back to the cars. (Updated Details) Walk from Cheltenham Railway Station to Epping Railway Station via the Lane Cove National Park. We will follow the fire trail along Devlins Creek to the junction with the Great North Walk (GNW). Follow the GNW until the Terrys Creek Track turnoff. Follow this track through various parks until we come to Terrys Creek Falls. We will then back track and walk to the Epping Railway Station. Possible sightings of flannel flowers and other flowers in bloom along this walk. The track could be rough and slippery in parts. Creek crossings. Limit: 15. View |

RSVP only accepted from 2 weeks prior to 7 pm the day before event. Walk along the north shore of the Parramatta River from Meadowbank to Huntleys Point. Along the way we will visit Helene Park, Anderson Park, Settlers Park, Cleves Park, Kissing Point, Putney Park, Morrison Bay Park, Glades Bay Park, Banjo Patterson Park and Bedlam Bay, learning some Sydney history as we go. It's a colourful walk. At this time of the year, we see purple jacarandas, red flame trees amongst giant fig trees. Walk the cool rainforest in Looking Glass Bay, walk Jenny's Labyrinth, see orchid like Walking Lily in bloom, Parramatta River Regional Park, admire the community garden in Bedlam Bay and Gladesville hospital. We walk pass Gladesville Reserve before reaching Huntleys Point Wharf for a return trip home to Circular Quay or Meadowbank. Mud, steps, slip hazards.
