10 Sep, Sun 9:00AM | Point Upright and Durras Trails
Grade:3/6 | Length | 10km | Milton Branch
Shauna G. | |||||
Walk distance: 7.5 – 10 km. Stunning scenes including pristine beaches, remnant rain forest and spectacular cliffs with steep headlands, followed by a gentle forest amble along the shoreline of Durras Lake and its nature trail. The swell on the day will define how far we can travel along the rocky shoreline, but we will anyway have to pay close attention to the prevailing local conditions as we scramble over sometimes slippery boulders and possibly up a steepish cliff section. Options for swim if conditions are right, but the water temperature will likely be too cold for all but the most hardy (or silly!).
