Cycle | A cycling tripAccommodation | An activity that involves an overnight stay, using hard-roofed accommodation such as a cabin, hut or hotel.Those who are seriously considering joining us, will be provided with our itinerary and accommodation bookings, however you will need to make your own accommodation bookings. Numbers are limited! The Central West Cycle (CWCT) Trail is the premier Western New South Wales cycle route with relatively gentle gradients the majority of the way and plenty of resupply points, pubs and small town take away joints. It is suggested that you bring morning and afternoon teas and lunches as there may not be facilities when we stop for breaks. This is an unsupported trip, therefore there will be no support vehicle. Thursday 22 February, arrive in Mudgee, NSW
Friday 23 February, commence CWCT,  Mudgee
Friday 1 March, finish CWCT, Mudgee
Length: 364.19 kms. Route type: circular. This route is a mixture of lovely gravel roads and sealed tarmac. Although gravel might not be every ones cup of tea it makes for nice riding with less traffic.Taking everything you would need for bicycle repairs, including two (2-3) spare tubes is essential for this ride as well as a first aid kit, sun screen, water, helmet.

Take a scenic train ride to Woy Woy and then bus to the start of the walk at Umina Beach. Walking mostly beside beaches and Brisbane Water; mainly on footpaths and cycle paths. Occasional uneven ground.

Exploratory. 13-15 km, some on trail. Scrambling and exposure.

Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or longGardens of Stone SCA/Ben Bullen State Forest west of the Great Dividing Range encapsulates, in a relatively small area, everything that is exciting and interesting about bushwalking – incredible rock sculptures, tall pagodas, narrow slot canyons, magnificent caves, verdant forests and more.  This unique area is currently under serious threat from mining. Find out why this area must be protected for future generations. About 8k. All off-track, some rock scrambling and exposure.

Hazards: Rough track often wet, muddy and slippery, unfenced lookout.

Long day, early start. Park at GR 652 942 at the start of Tessellate Hill access track. Walk to Tesselate Hill and descend into Wollangambe River at GR 636 952. Walk/swim/boulder/scramble down the gorge to the planned exit point at GR 656 982 (new to the leader). Find a way back on the ridge, walk to Tessellate Hill and then the vehicles. Bring helmet (mandatory) and dry bags. Wet suit strongly recommended. Lilo optional. Must be able to swim well. Exploratory. Scrambling and exposure. About 13 km.

Expect to be amazed and delighted in an area rarely visited. Rock scrambling and off-track walking.

It has recently been improved with some new steps and better drainage. Visit Leura Cascades, Echo Point and Katoomba Cascades. This walk forms part of the new Grand Cliff Top Walk from Wentworth Falls to Katoomba. Although this walk follows the top of the cliffs, there are a lot of ups and downs.
