Ahearn Lookout is a spectacular lookout at the end of an interesting ridge, offering views of the Nattai Gorge, Mt Jellore and Russells Niddle. Hopefully the wildflowers should be on display. Fire trail - track, possible short off-track section with mild scrub and cliff edges.

Fred's Big Run - Philip Wright (fredsbigrun.org) Walk from The Spit to Circular Quay via Balmoral and the waterfront. This is about the most scenic walk in Sydney. Limit: 10. View

Walk on trail to SH 1127, then off trail north east to SH 1095. Descend into Kangaroo Creek at around GR 329 060, then follow the cliff line and ledges all the way to GR 315 056. Exit to Angus Place Trail and walk back to vehicles. About 12 km. Partly exploratory. Scrambling and exposure.
