After a break we will backtrack and follow the Hacking River fire trail and cross the Hacking. We then follow the Red Cedar Circuit and cross back over the river. Now we ascend a short off-track section to pick up a variety of tracks leading back to Helensburgh Station. River crossings, cliff edges, loose stones.

From the second car, descend The Gurgler and visit the Flying Carpet. Walk back underneath the cliff line to Koan Cave, then continue south via Koan Pass and above the cliff line, all the way to Michelangelo Cave. Visit Michaels Chair and re-connect with the first car. Scrambling and exposure.

Park on the road from Mount Airly to Genowlan Trig where there is suitable space. Walk up the road to the top of the plateau and then take the road to Genowlan Trig. Leave this road at about GR 253 320 and head east to the top, southern end of the Valley of the Dinosaurs. We will then proceed down the valley stopping to explore as many slots as possible on both sides. Next, visit the Ultimate Slot and then return to the road and to the vehicles. Scrambling and exposure.

He will provide evidence about the reality of shark bites as opposed to the fictions presented by the media and politicians. What is the real risk and should we be worried about it? Culum is at the School of Biological Sciences at Macquarie University. His main field of study is the behavioural ecology of fishes with a special interest in fish learning and memory. On this trip, I will take you to a few of the wilder locations within the park that aren't often visited as well as plenty of the fantastic regular walks which make this park justifiably famous. With hot showers and good amenities isn't it time you experienced the wonderful Warrumbungles! Interested people can come for 4/5 or 6 days. Some off-track walking. Limit: 20. View

On day 4 two coastal walks in the Wyrrabalong National Park – total distance 15km. Grade 2. All cycles are on bitumen cycle paths suitable for road bikes, hybrid or mountain bikes. Visit an aboriginal site and the historic saw mill, and  a few rocky vantage points, which offered spectacular views of the valley. The track to the creek is steep and involves some rock scrambling but it is adorned with wild flowers of various colours, overhangs and caves.  Some street walking to Linden station at the end. Some scrambling, creek crossing, steep and slippery sections

Most of the walk is Grade 1 and an optional 3km loop in the bush (the Grade 2 section) can be omitted to make a shorter easier walk of 3.5km. Return to Ropes Crossing Shops, choice of buses to Mount Druitt, St Marys or Penrith Stations. Coffee somewhere. View

After visiting a few spectacular lookouts we will then traverse the escarpment along various tracks to Stanwell Tops stopping at various points of interest along the way. We then follow the Princess Marina track to Kelly Falls. From the falls we will follow various tracks including an off-track section to roads that lead to Otford Station. Cliff edges, river crossings.

Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or longWhat better way to celebrate Anzac day than go bush and into the depths of this rarely walked part of the Gardens of Stone National Park. I visited the Minotaurs Lair last July and only explored a small part of this very interesting and complex area so want to explore a hellva lot more, including the rugged pagodas, passes and slots and see what we can find. Rock scrambling, off-track walking.

After a break, cross the river and ascend on the Burgh Track 220m, to Garawarra Farm. Follow the Cliff Track and descend 190m on the Lilyvale Track. Locate and follow the Karingal and Red Cedar Tracks to again cross the Hacking. We then follow the Hacking River fire trail and ascend a steep off-track section to pick up various tracks back to the station. Cliff edges, river crossings.
