|Park the cars on Fire Trail No. 4 off Sunnyside Ridge Road, at about GR 402 078. Head south east into a gorge and down to the junction with Carne Creek. Continue downstream and explore 2-3 other ravines running north before reconnecting with the cars.

|Bobbin Head to St Ives. The 100 km trail features the well-known Great North Walk and the Harbour to Hawkesbury Walking Track in the beautiful bushland of northern Sydney. Section 4 starts from Bobbin Head and finish at St Ives Showground. We walk from Mt Kuring-gai Station to start of section at Bobbin Head and finish at the Wildflower garden. Then we catch a bus back to Wynyard. Angelo will be leading some sections of the Great North Walk. Join this walk so that we get to know each other better. Bring snacks and drinks. Slippery sections. |Ahearns Lookout is found by following the beginning of Starlights Track. Take a left fork leading to Rocky Waterholes Lookout and just past this junction look for a right turn which meanders along the ridge to Ahearns Lookout. This gives views over the Nattai with Mt Jellore easily identified. Return by the same route. Rough track, fallen trees and unfenced cliffs.

|This is a fantastic overnighter at Kanangra. Beginning from the Kanangra Road we'll trek over the Pindari Tops and down the Colboyd Ridge, over Mt Great Groaner to Central Christys and an excellent campsite with water on tap. On day 2 we'll climb Wallarra Ridge to the imposing Barralliers Crown. We'll be off-track to hit the Uni Rover Trail trackhead. A joint walk with SBW. View|

|(Fully Booked - Ask leader about waiting list) Illawarra Branch's annual visit exploring some wonders of the eastern Budawangs but now that Gadara Point & Ngaityung Falls are defined as in the main exclusion zone for unexploded ordinance our 30+ years of leading that walk has sadly come to an end. This time we will do Florence & Rusden Heads which are outside the main exclusion zone. Joint walk with Illawarra Ramblers.
