Park one car at the Mount Irvine Cemetery, GR 630 919 and drive another one to Boronia Point Trail, GR 588 908. Descend to the Wollangambe at GR 598 925, and walk/swim/float/scramble down the river to around GR 629 924. Climb out to the first car. Participants must be competent swimmers and be able to handle scrambling and exposure. Helmets and wet suits are essential. Lilo is recommended. About 6 km. Partly exploratory.

Some rock scrambling involved on the climb out.Wetsuit is needed and helmet is advised(bike helmet will do fine)

Highlights of the walk are  Lookouts to Mount Banks, Penrith Lakes, Lion Rock, Bell Rock, tall gum and turpentile trees, sandstone rock formations a creek,  birds and horses. Some interesting letterboxes are seen on the way. Steep and slippery sections. No touch sign on. Social distancing will be observed. Please bring hand sanitizer. Basically we walk down to the delightful Lincoln Creek via Pisgah Rock Track and then walk up Lincoln Creek as far as we dare before using our trusty lilos to float down the creek and shoot the rapids where possible. Guaranteed lots of swimming, refreshing watery times and general good fun. Steep track down Pisgah Rock and rapids on the lilo.

Starting at Frenchs Forest this walk takes bush tracks to follow Manly Creek as it cascades steeply down to Manly Dam. From the shores of the dam it climbs up to Balgowlah North. A few suburban streets lead to the headwaters of Burnt Bridge Creek where it picks up the shared bicycle paths along this hidden gem. Finish at Balgowlah. Steps, creek crossings, slippery when wet.

Slippery, steep, off track, scrambling on narrow rough track. Can be quite muddy in places.

Cycle | A cycling tripCycle Wolli Creek to Birkenhead Point then Cabarita return. A casual, scenic ride around bays, rivers and canals. Cycle from Wolli Creek Railway Station to Stanmore, Whites Creek Canal, Rozelle, Birkenhead Point, The Bay Run, Canada Bay, then Cabarita for picnic lunch (BYO). Coffee stops along the way. Many cycle paths and cycle lanes along quiet roads with some undulations. Return to Wolli Creek Rail about 4pm, via Canals and a Greenway. No helmet, no go! View
