|(NEW!!!) Cambewarra Range Nature Reserve is on the top of Mt Cambewarra. A rough fire trail leads out to a trig point overlooking Kangaroo Valley. On the return, a side track leads out to Brown Mountain with lookout over the coast. Aboriginal rubbings are seen on both tracks. Rough track, unfenced cliff edges. Slippery after rain.

|(Fully Booked) Steal some time off in September 2019. We walk the length of the Great Walk on the Fraser Island at a leisurely pace taking 8 days. We will have two food drops on the way and so the packs will not be too heavy. A lovely walk with a variety of vegetation and scenery, beautiful lakes, and spectacular sand dunes. The tall trees in the Valley of the Giants are a must to see! Spaces strictly limited because of transport requirements along the beaches of Fraser Island. Limit: 13. View|

|(DRAFT - do not publish yet) This walk starts at a small isolated train station, and takes in some great scenery on the way to Woy Woy station. The walk gets most of the climbing out of the way quickly. Once up on the main ridge there are great views along the Hawkesbury River and Mooney Mooney Creek. Highlights of the walk include Kariong Brook Falls and Mt Wondabyne, the highest point in the area. We will catch a taxi from Woy Woy landfill to Woy Woy Station to avoid 4 km of boring road walk.

Superb views, grass trees abound, lots of wildflowers. Return to Brooklyn by ferry in the afternoon. Bring exact fare for ferry (return fare is adult $15.40 and $7.80 for seniors), lunch, drinks and snacks. Slippery sections, some bush bashing and rock scrambling.

|Namadgi National Park with its wonderful array of habitats is a great place to explore! Fantastic boulder ridges, alpine frost hollows and bountiful swamps are just a few worth seeing on its expansive system of tracks. This is a car based camp, costing $10 a person per night at the comfortable Honeysuckle Creek Campsite, only a short drive from the nations capitol. I expect to also visit Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve during our stay as lots of wildlife worth spotting within its confines. Optional rock scrambling.

|This walk is along the first part of the Bonnum Pic Track. Leaving the fire trail there are a couple of steep gullies to negotiate before joining an old fire trail and then a bush track leading to the escarpment. Wildflowers are prolific and the view spectacular. Walk starts at Wanganderry Fire Trail yards. Steep rough track slippery creek crossing, fallen trees, unfenced cliff edges.

|Full pack walk to the famed “bushwalkers resort” in the rugged upper Kowmung River, then two wonderful days to chill out at the best bush campsite in the Blue Mountains with nice side trips. The final day is a full pack walk back up the hill to the cars (sigh!). A walk that is short in distance but rugged in nature.

|Mt Jellore is an outstanding landmark in the Southern Highlands. The walk follows a fire trail through private property to Mt Jellore. |This park protects the largest surviving koala population is greater Sydney. Stokes and O’Hares Creeks enclose a succession of idyllic waterholes, three of which are accessed on this delightful walk. Keep looking up for those koalas! It's December and beautiful waterholes so bring your cossies 🙂 Well formed tracks/fire trails. One steep section of track. Some clambering down sandstone near swimming holes.
