  This is an identical walk to Saturday 31/8. Walk one day or both days. Today we walk from North Ryde to Thornleigh. It's a beautiful bushwalk along the Lane Cove River, somewhat rocky but generally good track, ending with a steep climb to Thornleigh Station at the end. There are 5 mild creek crossings. Beautiful sandstone caves, magestic gum trees and grass trees are there to welcome you. The track is adorned with wildflowers: Boronia, wattles, rice flowers, grevillea and more. Meet 8:50 at 259 bus stop from western side of Chatswood Station, Victoria Avenue (Stand G) The bus stop is roughly outside the Chatswood RSL Club. Bus leaves at 9am. If you miss the bus, take an uber or taxi to trail head at River Ave/Dehli Road, because it is an hourly bus.
Bring a small towel and spare socks in case you have to take your shoes off for the creek crossings.
