The grandly named Traverse of the Gods is a walk along the upper terrace of Banks Wall following the claystone level past various slots, overhangs, patches of rainforest, one of which, the Devils Throat, is the most interesting and various ledges. Expect good views along the way, lots of rock scrambling, some scrub bashing in parts and the feeling that not many people have come this way before! Rock scrambling and scrub bashing. They especially welcome those who have not experienced Newnes and all it has to offer. 11:15am for 11:30 - Guests arrive 11:30 - 12pm - Walks from Newnes talk by Bushexplorers; Q+A 12pm - 12:45 - Book signing and lunch (see below) 12:45 – 13pm – Split into 3 groups to do 3 different short walks.
