Arriving at Merigan Homestead, around 2:30pm, we meet a bunch of local walkers for afternoon tea & a short talk on the station’s history by the owner Tim de Mestre. Then join the local walkers for 2.7km on farm road through an avenue of deciduous trees to the Merigan boundary, with a good viewpoint on the way. Return the 2.7km to the homestead in the support car(s). Overnight at the homestead, either very comfortable accommodation in the renovated ‘Maids quarters’ indoors, or camping.
