  Save Kosci walk: day 23. Today is the first day on which we use the abandoned Queanbeyan to Cooma railway easement to provide a change from road walking. The industrial Canberra suburb of Hume gives way to quiet walking on rail-side tracks as the route gradually gains height through forest and farming country, with some views to the Brindabellas. Start: be ready to start walking at 8.30 am at the turning circle at the end of Arnott Street, Hume, ACT.
End: approx. 2.45 pm, at Swainsona Reserve, Royalla Drive (approx. half-way between junction of Royalla Drive & Monaro Hwy and junction of Royalla Drive & Booth Road).
