(Cancelled) Kayak & car camp at Dunns Swamp on the June long weekend, 9-11 June. It's four hours drive from Sydney to this short portion of Cudgegong River in an astonishing photogenic bushland setting. Paddles can be figured out as we wish on the days, interspersed with bushwalking & socialising. Turn up any time from late Friday onwards. No shops nearby - bring enough food, water, nibbles, etc. It can get chilly so pack your thermal long johns, and everyone must bring a bag of kindling or firewood for the fire pits. It's a National Park; fees per night $6 adult & $3.50 child; bring the right change.
