We start from Engadine with a fairly steep descend, then we walk along the Woronora River until we climb a steep ascend to Lucas Heights. We will return to Engadine along the river. Tracks are not obvious and some scrambling is involved, but it's easy paced. Pristine river, fantastic view and spectacular flora. If you are lucky, you may see an owl. Bring drinks and lunch/snack. An inspection walk of the Kurnell Precinct of Kamay Botany Bay National Park in preparation for the Branch submission on the new draft plan of management. Part of a series of three NPA field trips to different parts of the park to help inform people interested in writing and submissions for the new Kamay-Botany Bay NP DPOM. That will include the Captain Cook Memorial site, the new captain's pick by ScoMo for the "Colossus of Cook", Alpha and the site for the new visitor centre, museum, etc and then up to Yena via Inscription Point and the Leap and also through to the whale watching centre.
