Walk north west, then north, then north east towards Woolpack Gap. Stay underneath the cliffs and try to find a way up at about GR 347 205 (alternatively, traverse further east to Collett Gap). Once on top, walk to Collett Gap and from there, to Wolgan Rock. Return either via Collett Gap or the new pass at GR 347 205 (if it is possible). Exploratory. Scrambling and exposure.

We drive to Safari Kayaking located in Kangaroo Valley arriving around 9’ish where we select our kayaks/canoes and life jackets. (You have a choice of double/singles canoe/kayaks). Kangaroo Safari transport out boats to Bendeela and the car pool follows on. Once set up and in the water we head up stream for about 3km to a lunch spot and then make our way back to Bendeela where our boats are returned to Safari kayaking and we drive back to Bowral. The cost per person for boat hire is $40 cash payable on the day. Please have the right amount of cash as we need to make a single payment. Please let me know via email by Sunday 11th Feb if you are interested in coming and whether you require a rental kayak. Cossies, hat, sunscreen and plenty of drinking water will be the go... especially if this warmish weather is still around. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to give me a call. (I love making up answers). BTW, 5 bonus points for falling in.

Canyon | A trip through a canyon (a gully surrounded by tall cliffs).(Updated Details) The middle section of Dumbano is my favourite. No abseils. Early start and a long day. Park at GR 486 958 on the Wollangambe Fire Trail. Walk north east and visit the amazing Poised Rock, then descend into the canyon at GR 499 982. Exit the canyon at GR 522 985 and use a series of ridges to get back to the cars. You need to be a good swimmer and have dry bags, wet suit and helmet. About 12k plus 3k in the canyon.
