From Bowral Pool we depart at 8:30am which is one hour earlier than normal departure time. We drive to Safari Kayaking located in Kangaroo Valley arriving around 9’ish where we select our kayaks/canoes and life jackets. (You have a choice of double/singles canoe/kayaks). Kangaroo Safari transport out boats to Bendeela and the car pool follows on. Once set up and in the water we head up stream for about 3km to a lunch spot and then make our way back to Bendeela where our boats are returned to Safari kayaking and we drive back to Bowral. The cost per person for boat hire is $40 cash payable on the day. Please have the right amount of cash as we need to make a single payment. Please let me know via email by Sunday 11th Feb if you are interested in coming and whether you require a rental kayak. Cossies, hat, sunscreen and plenty of drinking water will be the go... especially if this warmish weather is still around. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to give me a call. (Updated Details) The middle section of Dumbano is my favourite. No abseils. Early start and a long day. Park at GR 486 958 on the Wollangambe Fire Trail. Walk north east and visit the amazing Poised Rock, then descend into the canyon at GR 499 982. Exit the canyon at GR 522 985 and use a series of ridges to get back to the cars. You need to be a good swimmer and have dry bags, wet suit and helmet. About 12k plus 3k in the canyon. Location: Blue Mountains NP Map: Wollangambe 89312S
