|Circuit walk to include a climb to Mt Westmacott and visiting Lake Toolooma and Kingfisher Pool. Lots of time for a swim. Finish by following the Bullawarring and Mooray Tracks back to the station. Good views of Heathcote National Park and a few nice waterfalls. Cliff edges, slippery loose conditions. Creek crossings.

|Ryde Park - Canon Bicentennial Walk - Field Of Mars Wildlife Refuge - Wallumatta Nature Reserve. Streets, parks, bush tracks, ups and downs, steps, boardwalks. Hopefully lots of wildflowers out. Lunch at lower end of reserve, then climb back up to East Ryde and complete circuit of Wallumatta Nature Reserve. Bus return to city / Macquarie Centre (coffee stop). View|

|Early start. From the Glen Davis Camping ground, climb to the top of Glen Trig via the canyon route. Return the same way. Stunning views of the Wolgan and Capertee Valleys. Scrambling and exposure. Partly exploratory for the leader.

|Mostly roads and fire trails. Follow Long Angle Creek and Cripple Creek trails to Blaxland. Cyclists and horse riders also use the fire trails. Some steep sections. Some loose surface on trails.

|Victoria Falls Road – Valhalla Head Fire Trail – Folkvangr Head – Valhalla Head - Asgard Swamp – Asgard Swamp Mine – Asgard Fire Trail - Victoria Falls Road. This is a walk to two heads, a swamp, an abandoned mine and fabulous views. We will visit a head not often seen. My previous attempts to do this walk were thwarted by heat or rain. Track, off-track with mild scrub, cliff edges, creek crossing and fire trail.

|(Fully Booked - Ask leader about waiting list) This would be very good as the first walk for those wishing to try out pack walking. From Hornsby Station a few streets and link up with Great North Walk. Head to Crosslands reserve (approx. 15 km, mostly downhill and relatively easy with one tricky creek crossing). Camping at Crosslands: beautiful spot with water and toilets. Walk out next day to Berowra Station (5.5 km). Slippery sections.

|An easier pack walk in the Megalong Valley along a section of the Six Foot Track. Lovely scenery and a great campsite next to the Cox River. Good introduction to full pack walking.

|Flying Fox accessed by a fire trail has the remains of the flying fox used to bring timber up from the valley. The walk then returns to the Cooks Nose Lookout, a wonderful lunch spot. On the edge of the escarpment there are spectacular views. Rough track often wet, muddy and slippery, unfenced lookout.
