Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or longPrivate property access has been arranged. Park a few cars on Long Ridge Trail, GR 788 992 and drive the others to the start of Tootie Creek Trail. Walk down the trail to Tootie Creek at GR 763 987, then climb a saddle to the north west to the base of an island-like mountain. Walk clockwise and explore under the cliffs till GR 765 996, then descend into Tootie Creek and climb on the other side to Long Ridge West. Walk to the parked cars. About 10 km. Scrambling and exposure. Mostly exploratory.

We'll start the walk from Turramurra Station and make our way via the Sheldon Forest Walking Track, Kissing Point Trail and Lane Cove Valley Walk to Brown's Waterholes. From Brown's Waterholes we'll have a couple of options to make our way to Macquarie University and the Metro Station. There will be some road and street walking along the way. Steps, rocks, slippery sections of track. Traffic on street sections.

Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or longThis walk is along the first part of the Bonnum Pic track.  Leaving the fire trail there are a couple of steep gullies to negotiate before joining an old fire trail and then a bush track leading to the escarpment.  Wildflowers are prolific and the view is spectacular. Steep rough track, slippery creek crossing, fallen trees, unfenced cliff edges.  NOTE: Sections of this track have become quite overgrown.

Circumnavigate below the cliffs of Cascades Peak counterclockwise between GR 801 016 and GR 797 016, then find a pass into Tootie Creek at around GR 792 020. Walk downstream to Upper Tootie Cascades. Climb to Cascades Peak and walk back to T3. About 9 km. Scrambling and exposure. Partly exploratory.

We will meet on the western side of the Thornleigh Railway Station at 9.30am. We will follow the Great North Walk(GNW) through the streets until we enter the Berowra Valley NP. We will stay on the GNW until we reach the intersection with th Callicoma track. We will then explore around Cherrybrook where we eventually reach the Lakes of Cherrybrook. There is the possibility of wet muddy tracks which could also be slippery.
