Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or longPhotography | A trip that has a strong focus on encouraging people to capture photographs.Public Transport | There are public transport options to and from this activity.(NEW!!!) This walk replaces the Red Hands Cave walk which was cancelled due to track closures. We will meet on the western side of the Thornleigh Railway Station at 9.30am. We will follow the Great North Walk(GNW) through the streets until we enter the Berowra Valley NP. We will stay on the GNW until we reach the intersection with th Callicoma track. We will then explore around Cherrybrook where we eventually reach the Lakes of Cherrybrook. Hazards: There is the possibility of wet muddy tracks which could also be slippery.

All station trains to and from Hornsby stop at Thornleigh. People using the Metro will need to change at Epping for the all station train to Thornleigh. There are regular buses services from near the Lakes of Cherrybrook to Pennant Hills Station, Cherrybrook Metro Station, Castle Hill interchange and Parramatta.
