Starting at Balmoral Beach with its little jetty and huge fig trees; to Middle Head to explore fortifications and cliff top views beyond the Heads; then through angophora trees to Georges Heights and barracks converted to artist studios; and on to Clifton Gardens for lunch. Then we will walk beside secluded bays to the navy memorials at Bradley’s Head. Then it is a short walk to Taronga Zoo for a Ferry to Circular Quay and trains home. Limit: 20. View

The walk will start at Perrys Lookdown, down to Grose River, then a walk along the Grose River, back up via Rodriguez Track, Horse Track to Grand Canyon Track and finish at Evans Lookout. Steep and slippery sections, creek crossing and lots of steps.

Here we explore the old road that once lead from the southern highlands to Nowra and desppares under water to resurface on the other side. Will explore Yurunga creek. Return to our lunch spot across from Beehave point. Return to Talloowa Dam. Deep water. dead trees and tree stumps in the water.

We will follow the fire trail along Devlins Creek to the junction with the Great North Walk (GNW). Follow the GNW until the Terrys Creek Track turnoff. Follow this track through various parks until we come to Terrys Creek Falls. We will then back track and walk to the Epping Railway Station. Possible sightings of flannel flowers and other flowers in bloom along this walk. The track could be rough and slippery in parts. Creek crossings.  Limit: 15. View

Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or longFast pace | A trip where the leaders will set a fast pace.Starting on Nattai Road W11E and turning off on Starlights Trail, and follow to Emmetts Flat. Morning tea at camping areas. Return on Starlights Trail and turn off to Point Hill for lunch. Continue to the junction with Ahearn Lookout Track and follow to views over Nattai River valley. Return to car parked on Nattai Road. This is a long walk that needs a reasonable pace to complete in one day, with at least six hours of walking time. Allowing some time to check out the Nattai River near the camping area and views at lookouts for a late finish. Hazards include creek crossings, slippery rocks and hard to follow tracks.

We then proceed southwesterly on rough tracks to Paradise Rock for lunch with a view, then a short but rough, steep and scrubby off-track section should land us on Steamers Beach for a snack and maybe another swim, and then the main track back to the cars.

Follow this to Fitzgeralds Creek for lunch. After lunch there is the hill up to the cliffs overlooking Fitzgeralds Creek. Walk up to bus stop near Summit St. Some off track. The main creek crossings have concrete causeways. Some steep sections. Some eroded sections. Lots of leaves and twigs on unused bridal track. Powerline Service Trail is overgrown with long grass. Maybe wear gaiters. A few mosquitos about so protect yourself. Suggest you bring a couple of snacks you can eat on the move.

Rough track, slippery rocks, unfenced cliff edges.
