And from there mainly downhill, passing Douglas Look out, Giant Tingle Tree and Hill Top lookout to Coal Mine Beach Road. Distance 16.5km. Could be slippery, steep in places.
14th Oct 25 Tuesday: Bibbulmun Track, Walpole-Nornalup NP, WA. Drop of at Sappers Bridge, Walk to Tree Top Walk, 10KM. Tour at Tree Top walks. Slippery, steep in places.
15th Oct 25 Wednesday: Bibbulmun Track, Walpole-Nornalup NP, WA. Drop off at Peaceful Bay and walk along the cliff tops, via Soft Beach, Cape Hope, Kingy Rock Castle Rock, and dune areas to Rame Head Campsite. From here to the spectacular Conspicuous Cliff. 16.3 KM. Hilly, sandy, slippery.
16th Oct 25 Thursday. Bibbulmun Track, Walpole-Nornalup NP, WA. Drop of at Suspension Bridge, Tinglewood Drive, West of Rest Point. Steep climb to Mount Clare and Mount Clare Campsite. Follow Bibbulmun Track via John Rate Lookout to Rest Point Caravan Park. 11KM. There is an option to get dropped off before Mount Clare, (so no climbing). Steep and slippery.
17th Oct 25 Friday, Walpole-Nornalup NP and Mnt Frankland NP, ECO cruise on the Walpole Inlet with some walks. In the afternoon a drive via Fernhook Falls, walks and views. Then to Mount Frankland and the Caldyanup Lookout and the Summit (300 even steps). A steep climb to the top with an option to walk around the base. Uneven surface steep section Limit: 12.

The walk then follows the escarpment past several view points and along a fence line across a couple of small creeks to Crystal Pool. The water leaves the pool to fall over the escarpment into the valley below. Return by the same route. From Wanganderry Stock yards we follow the Bonnum Pic track. Leaving the fire trail there are a couple of steep gullies to negotiate before joining an old fire trail and then a bush track leading to the escarpment.
From the escarpment we follow the track to Bonnum Pic. Wildflowers are prolific and the views are spectacular.
NOTE: Starting early and travelling at a slower pace. Steep rough track, slippery creek crossing, fallen trees, unfenced cliff edges. All but the lst 500 metres is a grade 4 walk. The last 500m to the Pic is steep with deep drop-offs and should only be attempted by persons with good climbing skills.Location: Nattai NP (High Range) Limit: 8. View |

Start with a coffee at the famous German bakery, Then walk to Wentworth Falls lake. The circuit around the lake shows you the serene beauty of the lake. Admire the water birds, sculptures and the flora...Maples, tea trees, grevillea ( specific to this area), isopogan, sun Orchid, wild strawberries, tree ferns, and of course Waratahs and rhododendrons flowering in October. There are more species unknown to the leader. Botanists are invited to join the walk to enrich our knowledge. If you are lucky, you will see redbellied snakes. On return to the station, you can treat yourself with the famous pastries at the German bakery or have a pub lunch Limit: 15.

![]() Starting and ending at Mt Kuring-gai with a mix of track and off-track sections. Beginning on the Mt Kuring-gai to Berowra track towards Cowan Creek we go off track into the gully that descends to Cowan Creek. Use of tape to descend the gully and water cascades before rejoining the maintained track. Due to closed track to Apple Tree Bay we return toward Mt Kuring-gai before going on foot pad that follows old water pipe to Apple Tree Bay. After lunch at the bay, with help from a low tide, the mangroves of Apple Tree Bay to the mouth of Apple Tree Creek can be walked, followed by the creek. Through the canyon and exit via off track and foot pad back to Mt Kuring-gai. Hazards include creek/gully walking, slippery wet rock surfaces, rock faces and cliff edges.Location: Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park Limit: 12. View |
