It follows marked tracks and board walks north through some wonderfully revegetated windblown coastal scrub to reach the southern end of Maroubra Beach. From there the track leads south along sandstone clifftops, providing spectacular views for which the Malabar Headland is known. We will keep an eye out for Humpback whales migrating north. Hazards: Cliff tops.

Lots of river stone/rock walking cause they are mostly in gorges. Not long walks. 30 to 34 Deg every day. Down to 10-12 deg some nights so camping gets cool. Campfires. Coolest nights July. Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or long(Fully Booked) The walk begins at Meryla Pass in Morton NP.  From the locked gate continue on the Fire Trail along the ridge.  There are several viewpoints which look towards Mt Carrialoo, Crankey's Creek and Lake Yarrunga until reaching the end of the track overlooking Wombat Hill.  On the return there is an optional trail leading to Rebecca's View over Sandy's Creek on the other side of the ridge. Hazards: Rough track and unfenced cliffs. Off track for extension to the trig.

Scrambling and exposure.

This is a loop walk in the river valley of the Lane Cove NP. Once in the NP, the walk will be along paved paths and bush tracks including a section of the Great North Walk. Trip hazards such as tree roots over the bush tracks or stoney sections of track.
