Meet at Glenbrook station, walk down to Glenbrook Beach, walk along Glenbrook Creek, and then along Kanuka Brook, climb up to Red Hand Track to Red Hand Cave, continue along Red Hand Cave track to Glenbrook Creek, cross Glenbrook Creek and walk to Blue Pool, climb up to Douglas Smith Park and back to Glenbrook Station. The walk starts at Torulosa Trail near Erina ( a gentle trail with stunning views into rainforest gully) and continues to Honeman’s Rock Picnic Area via Blue Hills Fire Trail, Yanina Trail, and Kanning Walk. We descend via Glassons Trail to end the walk at Kincumber. Some rock scrambling, steps and possibly mountain bikers. Location: Kincumber Mountain Reserve Limit: 15. View

Leader to RSVP:  Neil  Phone: 0412 699 565   This walk will take us along the ridge line maintenance track through a wonderful spotted gum forest, to the point of Square Head, which has a great view across all of the Clyde River estuary to the Toll Gate Islands, and then back along the eastern coast of Cullendulla Creek. This track is usually protected from the southerly winds and is a good spot to stop and look at the bird life, including black swans, on the Cullendulla River flats towards Surfside. If we haven't devoured our rations by the end of the walk we can then drive down to the picnic area in the Sandy Place Reserve where there are tables, a BBQ and toilets.  Location: Cullendulla Creek NR Limit: 12. (Changed Transport Details) Leader: Philip Wright. Philip has an insider's knowledge of the The Australian Botanic Garden Mount Annan. The garden showcases Australian flora amongst 416 hectares of rolling hills, lakes, lawns and gardens. In the late 18th century, the discovery of a new continent filled with exotic plants unknown to the rest of the world created waves of excitement in the field of botany. The Australian Botanic Garden displays approximately 2000 of these plants via themed gardens across the site as well as the Connections Garden, a four-hectare intensely cultivated space right in the heart of the Garden. Other features of the Garden include a restaurant, visitor center with gift shop, free gas barbecues and acres of Cumberland Plain Woodland to explore. Come Spring, the paper daisies become an attraction for visitors. Various species of Waratahs will be flowering too. After seeing the floral display, we will walk to the Sundial, Mount Annan Peak, the Blue Tree before leaving the Garden to visit Lake Yandel'ora before catching the bus home. Expect a long day. Not suitable for walkers who need to get back by a certain time. Limit: 10. View

From Rock Bottom we will access Point Hatteras via a route that follows under the clifflines below Point Hatteras and after ascending to the top will visit the Cape as well as the very interesting Mine in the Sky before descending via a route to the north of Airly Turret. Find out why this spectacular area must be better protected for future generations. Leave some vehicles at GR 243 305 on Glen Davis Road and drive others to GR 249 322 on the plateau. Walk southwards close to the rim of the escarpment all the way to Ultimate View and The Citadel; then to the Citadel Point at GR 255 301. Use a known pass to descend to the first car. After crossing the river, we climb up the rough track via Missingham Steps and once on top we follow the management trail back to the car park. Spring is orchid time.  Sylvan Grove Native Garden has such an array of Rock Orchids. They are majestic flowers to admire.  https://www.cbcity.nsw.gov.au/environment/parks-reserves/sylvan-grove-native-garden  It has mulched paths winding through rainforest areas and areas with more sun, so there is a diversity of plants.
