(Fully Booked) Co Leader: Ian Baker. The area provides new walks to most of us plus many short walks and activities for those who no longer wish to do the bigger walks. There is plenty to do and see. Parts of this stunning coastal wilderness - rich in culture and nature has been declared a UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve. There are six national parks in the immediate area and twelve in the region. We are staying in cabins and plan to explore different areas each day. Many trip hazards on the tracks. Location: Far South Coast View

There are beautiful views to the Waters of Berowra Creek(a tributary of Hawkesbury River) and neighbouring Ku Ring Gai Chase National Park, lots of shade, places to stop for a morning tea and lunch with a view and enough elevation change to get a good workout! A manageable moderate track. Plenty of birds chirping and wildflowers blooming plus wallaby might bound across the track if you are lucky. Steep and slippery track View

There is some track work towards Otford, but our advice is that we can complete walk heading to Otford, but walking is not allowed from Otford to Garawarra. We will do lunch at Audley Cafe if sufficient interest. Email leader and send your mobile number and emergency contact number to meet NPA’s paperless registration requirement….and to advise of cancellation due to weather. Some short steep uphill, mostly flat on wide track or fire trail. Limit: 12. View

Walk from Forest Lodge to Rozelle Bay following Johnstons Canal, then around Blackwattle Bay to pass the Fish Markets. Continue via Jackson’s Landing to Pyrmont Point and on to Barangaroo. Limit: 15. View

A walk from Katoomba to Leura going down the Giant Stairs then along Dardenelles Pass, though Leura Cascades to Leura Station, passing many beautiful lookouts and waterfalls along the way. Starting from Katoomba Station, Giant Stairs, Dardenelles Pass, Leura Forest, Fern Bower, Echo Tree Lookout, Kiah Lookout, Fossil Lookout, Copelands Lookout, Bridal Veil Lookout, Bottom of Bridal Veil Falls, Bridal Veils, Leura Cascades, Bridal View Lookout, Tarpelan Rock to Leura Station. Steep and slippery sections and muddy sections. Limit: 15. View

(Cancelled) Car shuttle from Blaxland Station to the car park at the end of Victoria Falls Road, walk down to the Cascades and Victoria Falls and back. After that drive back along the road, park the car near Ikara Head track, walk to lookouts, old mine site including off-track sections and back to car park. 1=7. One Dreaming Creation story. Seven walks. Seven days. Seven sisters. Seven rivers/creeks. Seven valleys. Up to 70,000 years. Seven million stars. A photographic journal of listening/learning at camps and along ancestral pathways in Gundungurra Country (Southern Blue Mountains). Our speaker, Yvonne Kaiser-Glass, is an archaeologist who has been privileged to be invited over the past 7 years, to participate in a 7-day off-track walk through Gundungurra Country in the southern Blue Mtns. Its premise is you have to walk Country to understand Country and from that respect follows. This talk promises to bring a unique insight into areas of the Greater Blue Mountains World Heritage Area that most of us will never see. Due to COVID, attendance is limited to 30, so booking is desirable, just by replying to this email or by the phone number below. Those attending must be double vaccinated. (Date Changed) From Parramatta Road at Camperdown, Orphan School Creek flows through Forest Lodge and Glebe into Rozelle Bay. We continue easterly along the waterfront via the fish markets, Darling Harbour and the old Goods Line to Railway Square. Hazards include current viruses and uneven surfaces. Limit: 10. View

Of special interest is a Victorian Stone Work carved by Neville Wran's Great Grandfather. Beautiful Glebe Foreshore, award-winning Frank Gehry building, a colour changing building,  historic Goods Line, (with 36-LEVER FRAME INTERLOCKING MACHINE). The highlight and one of the main reasons for this walk is to visit the stunning and colourful Cotton Candy sea caves north of Moonee Beach. This will be one of our first ports of call as we head south along the coast, walking, swimming and exploring the beautiful Munmorah SRA. So bring your cossies, blockout and a sense of adventure. (Fully Booked) This walk near Wisemans Ferry oozes history. It's a steady climb up Devines Hill, the old convict-built road that contains so many remnants of the 1820s, plus lots of information signs. Once at the top of the hill we'll take the Shepherds Gully Loop and then return to the Old Great North Road. Then we'll take the Finchs Line track back down to Wisemans Ferry Road. A 3km car shuffle will be involved. Joint walk with The Bush Club. The lower section of Finchs Line is very rough underfoot. Location: Dharug NP Map: Lower Portland 90312S Limit: 12. View

Find out for yourself why this unique area must be protected for future generations. Park on the road from Mount Airly to Genowlan Trig where there is suitable space. Walk up the road to the top of the plateau and then take the road to Genowlan Trig. Leave this road at about GR 253 320 and head east to the top, southern end of the Valley of the Dinosaurs. We will then proceed down the valley stopping to explore as many slots as possible on both sides. Next, visit the Ultimate Slot and then return to the road and to the vehicles. Today we walk from North Ryde to Thornleigh. It's a beautiful bushwalk along the Lane Cove River, somewhat rocky but generally good track, ending with a steep climb to Thornleigh Station at the end. There are 5 mild creek crossings. Beautiful sandstone caves, magestic gum trees and grass trees are there to welcome you. The track is adorned with wildflowers: Boronia, wattles, rice flowers, grevillea and more. Steep and slippery sections, creek crossings. Map: Lane Cover River Park Limit: 15. View

Commence with a steep ascent, 180m at a relaxed pace, with a short loop at Stanwell Tops visiting a few lookouts. Follow the charming Princess Marina Track to Kellys Falls. One of them is a hidden gem. From Fullers Bridge, we'll walk along the river, visiting Mowbray Park, Batten Reserve and Stringy Bark Reserve.  Door prizes too!  I will be leading The river walk after lunch: 12 km 200 m elevation.
