Save Kosci: Melrose and Mittagong Motels to Moss Vale Village Caravan Park |
|
Length |
20km |
300m |
Branch |
General Community Event |
Save Kosci walk: day 8. 20km, with a climb of 300 metres in the morning then mostly downhill or flat. Highlights include walking the shady tourist road through the Mt Gibraltar Reserve in the morning, with morning tea at Bowral Lookout. The route also provides an introduction to some of the wealthier suburbs of the Southern Highlands, where mansions are set in manicured gardens, and verges have been mown for us by the staff. Through the main streets of Bowral and Moss Vale for some publicity for the cause, and nearly 5km of path through fields for some tranquility for the soul. Accommodation at the clean and green Moss Vale Village Caravan Park. For more info and to register go to https://savekosci.org/

Nothing says summer in Sydney like a street of jacaranda trees in full bloom. As if Sydney wasn’t already the prettiest city in Australia, we find ourselves living in nothing short of a magical, lavender coloured, wonderland. Let's start with the Royal Botanical Garden, cross the Harbour bridge, and explore the streets of suburbs like lavender bay and Wollstonecraft.
Jointly led by Kevin Cliffe and Esther. No need to contact leader but email RSVP is appreciated. Location: Sydney Harbour Limit: 8.
