Attractions : Double Bay Beach; Exclusive suburb of Point Piper; Rose Bay Foreshore; Strickland House; Nielsen Park; Vaucluse House; Palsley Bay Reserve; Gibsons Beach. The walk ends at Watsons Bay where you can have Fish and Chips at the famouse Doyles and have a swim; Ferry ride across the beautiful Sydney Harbour with million-dollar views.

Option #1: Destination Pagoda Circuit - tbc 4 to 5 hour drive with short and medium walks. Dobbs Drift Lookout, Marangaroo Creek South, Lost City Lookout site, lunch and guided tour of Marangaroo Swamp by expert ecologists. Broad Swamp and ‘Temple of Doom’ if time and road condition permits. OR Option #2: Angus Place Circuit - tbc 4 to 5 hours walking. Twin Gully Swamp in a pre-mined state. See damage caused by mining at East Wolgan or Carne West Swamps. Stop at Birds Rock and then Wolgan Falls - both threatened by longwall mining. Route and sites depend of road condition on day. Time: 10:30am for 11am sharp departure. Finish 6pm. Meet: Lithgow Visitor Information Centre car park, 1137 Great Western Hwy, Lithgow. Recommended: 4 wheel drive and all wheel drive SUV (limit of 4 to a car). Car pooling: Please indicate if you can car pool, or need a lift. (Nearly fully booked) This is Part 2 of a 60 km, four-day walk, circling Sydney Harbour with the Sydney Harbour and Gladesville Bridges as its eastern and western points. Walk starts from Greenwich Point Wharf to Woolwich Wharf. This is a magnificent walk focusing on the Harbour itself – the expanse of water, the bridges, islands, urban bushland and city skyline. The route winds along parts of the foreshore, into bays and on to headlands, through bush, along historic streets and over grand bridges. Bring water, snacks and lunch. Optional drink at the pub. Day 1: Park at Benjang Gap, GR 300 930. Walk to Lee Creek and then upstream to GR 328 904. Take water for the day (or carry from home). Climb to Lost Chord Crater, continue to Lost Chord Saddle, then climb south west on Tal Tal Ridge to about GR 339 890. Descend into a tributary of Lee Creek at about GR 330 884. Take water for high camp and next morning, climb westwards and camp at around GR 324 885. If time permits, explore high cliffs to the south east (we may even camp there). About 12 km.
Day 2: Spend the morning exploring Lee Castle immediately to the north west, then descend into Lee Creek, take water for the high camp and the next day and climb to Labyrinth Saddle (eastern end) at GR 315 903. Then climb Labyrinth Peak, GR 311 901, to camp. About 6 km.
Day 3: Return to the Labyrinth Saddle. Explore around to the north and north east. If possible, descend into a tributary of Lee Creek at around GR 316 909; otherwise return to the saddle and use a known descent route to the north. Walk back to the cars. About 8 km. Exploratory.
