| This walk starts at Pioneer Park in Malabar. It follows marked tracks and board walks north through some wonderfully revegetated windblown coastal scrub to reach the southern end of Maroubra Beach. From there the track leads south along sandstone clifftops, providing spectacular views for which the Malabar Headland is known. We will keep an eye out for Humpback whales migrating north.      (Fully Booked) A few members from NPA did this walking tour of Kimberley last winter and the feedbacks were positive. For your comfort level, I’m quoting the insight from Graham. “The walks are no problem for NPA grade 3 walkers. Lots of river stone/rock walking cause they are mostly in gorges. Not long walks. 30 to 34 Deg every day. Down to 10-12 deg some nights so camping gets cool. Campfires. Coolest nights July. Purnalulu is coolest cause no fires allowed." Walk Shaws Ridge Fire trail, up Bees Nest Hill. Out to Grose Head Lookout, good views. Then Springwood Ridge Fire trail to St Columbas grounds. Track down to grotto and finish where we started. Steep, rough , muddy. Limit: 15.

| (Fully Booked) The walk begins at Meryla Pass in Morton NP. From the locked gate continue on the Fire Trail along the ridge. There are several viewpoints which look towards Mt Carrialoo, Crankey's Creek and Lake Yarrunga until reaching the end of the track overlooking Wombat Hill. On the return there is an optional trail leading to Rebecca's View over Sandy's Creek on the other side of the ridge.

This walk is one of the shining jewels of northern beaches. Takes you through scenic and beautiful ecosystems, abundance of wildlife and migrating birds, cultural heritage and historical icons. Long Reef headland is the most ideal spot for whale watching - furthest point of Sydney coastline.
