After a break, cross the river and ascend on the Burgh Track 220m, to Garawarra Farm. Follow the Cliff Track and descend 190m on the Lilyvale Track. Locate and follow the Karingal and Red Cedar Tracks to again cross the Hacking. We then follow the Hacking River fire trail and ascend a steep off-track section to pick up various tracks back to the station. Cliff edges, river crossings. Walks in Mt Wilson – Chinamans Hat and Pheasants Cave (4km) – grade 2, Mt Banks and exploration of the Banks Walls (exploratory off-track sections) – grade 3, Gooches Crater – grade 3, Rigby Hill Lookout and Pierces Pass to the Gross River – grade 3. Cathedral Reserve Campground is a large grassy open space with plenty of room for tents, Campervans and small motorhomes. Own transport is required, may be options for sharing cars depending on availability. Driving to walks will be shared amongst drivers and club rates will apply for passengers.
