  Leader: Philip Wright. Starting from Burralow Creek campground, we walk once during the day so as to familiarise with the route in day light. Then we have a break to have dinner before we walk in the dark to see the Glowworms. Leader is planning to stay at Archibald Hotel at Jurrajong. Camp ground is available at Burrlow Creek. You must commit to both day and evening walks before RSVP. Bright headlamp, preferably with red light, with spare batteries is essential for your safety. If you arrive with no headlamp, you will be turned back. Next day, we will do some other hikes, maybe Mount Tomah and Mount Banks before heading home. Crossing creek. Limit: 8.

As it will be in the middle of summer and possibly hot, activities will not be set in concrete. However walks from the campsite to Jibbon Beach, Jibbon Head, Aboriginal rock carvings and possibly a litter further on Saturday will be available, and on Sunday, wander across the bridge up to Maianbar. Plenty of opportunity the rest of the day for swimming, kayaking, paddle boards etc and a quiet supper on the beach watching the sun go down. Kayaks can be hired, or bring your own watercraft. PFDs compulsory. Explore the beautiful Cabbage Tree Basin! Small tents are the go. No Taj Mahals. Bookings for Bonnie Vale Camping Ground are essential. Location: Royal National Park Limit: 30.

  Clover Hill Rd is a management track leading to a rough track down to the Macquarie Rivulet. After crossing the rivulet there is an indistinct track which leads to Balancing Rock and a lovely waterfall. Return is by the same route.

  Bring your own kayak or rent. Book kayaks with leader at least 1x week beforehand. From Bowral Pool we depart at 8:30 am which is one hour earlier than normal departure time. We drive to Safari Kayaking located in Kangaroo Valley arriving around 9’ish where we select our kayaks/canoes and life jackets. Kangaroo Safari will transport our kayaks to Bendeela and the car pool follows on. Once set up and in the water, we head upstream for about 3km to a lunch spot and then make our way back to Bendeela where our boats are returned to Safari Kayaking and we drive back to Bowral. The cost per person for boat hire (TBC). Leader will provided details when established with hire co. Cash payable on the day. Please have the right amount of cash as we need to make a single payment. Cossies, hat, sunscreen and plenty of drinking water will be the go. Mostly still water. Possibility of one short section with quick flow if river is flowing.  Those who are seriously considering joining us, will be provided with our itinerary and accommodation bookings, however you will need to make your own accommodation bookings. Numbers are limited! The Central West Cycle (CWCT) Trail is the premier Western New South Wales cycle route with relatively gentle gradients the majority of the way and plenty of resupply points, pubs and small town take away joints. It is suggested that you bring morning and afternoon teas and lunches as there may not be facilities when we stop for breaks. This is an unsupported trip, therefore there will be no support vehicle.
