Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or longCar ferry - cars only. Walk across the lagoon to the shorebird sanctuary where many of the birds will now be flocking to prepare for migration to Siberia and Alaska. Some will be in their spectacular breeding colours. Bring binoculars. Then walk south along the beach, sandbar and mangroves to the old coal wharf. Return through the coastal rainforest where there should be plenty of fungi flowering. Contact leader essential for time and details.....subject to change

I probably won't acknowledge your booking until Sunday. Bikes, some stairs and some street walking.

Meet in Faulconbridge station car park. Drive 4 km to start of Faulconbridge fire trail. Walk 6 km. Then down to Grose River, another 1.5km . Opportunity to swim, it's a wonderful part of the river. Return to vehicles and back to station. Rough, uneven, steep track, water hazards, ladder, rope over rock can be circumnavigated.

Bring your camera and be prepared to "walk slow": or walk in a way that takes it in!
