A pleasant walk from Lindfield Railway Station to beyond Roseville Bridge following two creeks. The walk takes you through a variety of vegetation communities including Coachwood forests and with increasing water views. The track descends 166 metres and rises 80 metres. This is your last chance to do this track for a while, as it closes the next day for a month of maintenance. Starting from Waterfall station on the Uloola Fire Trail then turning on to the track that follows Kargaroo Creek through to Karloo pool. View the multiple small falls that are in this section of the creek. At Karloo pool we cross the creek and follow Karloo track back to Heathcote station.

The track is along the ridge with lovely views down to the valley below and to the hills across as well as to Spring Creek down on the other side. After Lions Head, descend on a steep track to Kadumba Valley Road and on to Kadumba Valley Camping Area. The descent/ascent to/from the valley is about 500m over about 3kms each way. Park cars on the Genowlan Mountain Trail, walk to Genowlan Trig. From there, head south east to the cliff line and follow it north east. Descend at around GR 265 319 below the cliffs, then traverse south west and enter Suspended Barbican from the northeastern side. Walk through Suspended Barbican, descend on the southwestern side and climb through Ultimate Chute to regain the cliff tops. From here, walk back to the cars. Scrambling and exposure. About 10 km. Above Carne Creek are a series of spectacular caves, Weather, Rain, Gemini, Micheangelo and Twin Arch to name a few, and they are all worth visiting. Below these via the aptly named Miracle Slot are outcrops of superb pagodas, the Pyramid Rocks also worth exploring. This isn't a long trip distance wise but it will excite and delight you! Rock scrambling and off-track.
I've had this walk on the program on 2 previous occasions and I was thwarted both times in doing this trip because the Glowworm Tunnel Road was closed. I'm hopeing that this will be 3rd time lucky! This walk is for lovers of steps. It ascends and descends several flights of steps on both sides of Spit Bridge. The walk follows the beginning of the Spit to Manly route as far as Clontarf, then climbs steps to Balgowlah. It crosses to Seaforth to enjoy a breathtaking view of Spit Bridge before descending via steep steps to the Bridge. On the Beauty Point side of the Bridge the walk follows waterfront bush tracks to Quakers Bay before climbing and crossing Spit Road. It descends via sets of steps to Chinamans Beach and finally climbs up to bushland for an alternative view of Spit Bridge. Steep flights of steps. This presentation will discuss Thomas Vallance Wran's significance in Australian art history and role of sculpture as architecture’s silent voice, inasmuch as ‘architecture is history’.
Thomas Vallance Wran (1832- 1891) came to Rockhampton in 1870 as a selector and established himself in Balmain 2 years later. His sculptures can be seen on major Sydney monuments such as the General Post Office, The Great Synagogue, Annandale Creative Arts Centre and Founders Hall at Newington College. His last work is a coat of arms on Balmain Court House.

This is a foreshore urban walk, via Barangaroo, Cockle Bay, Pyrmont Bay and Point Park, walking through the Fish Market area where you can view the building of the new Fish Market, Pyrmont Bridge by Wentworth Park, Blackwattle Bay and Park, which is reclaimed land dedicated as parkland, with some interesting history to read, buildings and relics of interest and onto Glebe Point - see the Moreton Bay Figs, Bicentennial Park to the light rail at Jubilee Park which takes us to Central Station. (Updated Details) As part of Parramatta to Shoalhaven Heads walks series, we will walk from Shellharbour (Junction) to Kiama mostly on the 'Kiama Coast Walk'. This section takes us on pathway over the Minnamurra River, see the spectacular river entrance, headlands, beaches and rock platforms to Kiama harbour and lighthouse. Those from Sydney take South Coast train departing Central 07:29, arriving Shellharbour Junction 09:34. Walk starts at Shellharbour Junction station and finishes at Kiama station. The walk starts at Bowen Hill Trail, GR 703 977. Walk east then north on a ridge and descend into a gully at about GR 712 982. Continue down the watercourse and then clockwise around the cliffs till about GR 979 990. Climb to the ridge and walk back to the cars. Exploratory. About 11 km. Scrambling and exposure. Sassafras Ridge fire trail. Find track to kangaroo rock carving. Down to creek. Then up Sassafras Track to Springwood station.

This is a fairly gentle walk in the lower Blue Mountains that includes some great views over Sydney from Marges and Elizabeths Lookouts. Walking under the Highway near the RAAF Base we discover a disused railway tunnel and an old tramway, used to build the present railway line. We will follow the tramway to its end and see some more great views. Much, but not all the change in elevation on this walk is downhill. We finish at Lapstone Station. Booking essential. (Fully Booked) From Lake Couridjah car park we will head along Slades Rd and left into Dry Lakes Rd and follow this fire trail to the boundary of the NP. After backtracking a short distance we then traverse a new track through to Radcliffs lookout for lunch. After lunch it's a short backtrack to pick up a track down through a glen to the ruins of a farm house and then on to Lake Werri Berri where we make our way back to the cars.

From the Little Forest carpark, head towards Rusden Head. The carriages is a new Wednesday walk and usually only enjoyed by Sunday walkers. A truly unusual overhang ( the less agile will need to just peek in from above!), and stunning views across the valley and back to waterfalls below Porters Creek Dam.
